My 5 star review is for Will who is on the rotation to handle calls for maintenance emergencies…read more Will provided outstanding service during an emergency sewer backup situation. He was calm, kind, knowledgeable, and efficient. He listened carefully, asked the right questions, and helped resolve the issue quickly. I'm very grateful for his professionalism and assistance. Having someone like him helping made a stressful situation much easier to handle.

After 2.5 months and at least 5 voicemails they never made an attempt to call me back. No worries though, the email said I can pick them up at the post office after a certain date. The post office they said to go to had no clue what I was talking about and on 2 occasions told me to call the company. I dont blame the post office, they didn't know that the company doesn't respond to anyone... I finally get someone on the phone at the this company and they refer me to the Manager Mark. Mark claims that the email instructions aren't accurate and if I need my mail I will have to travel to their office from my address. No they will not bring them to Naperville or the post office, just come and get them.

Simply the best! I…read moream an artist and first got to work with BEI as a resident of Water Street Studios. I had an issue with a leaking limestone wall that Kristen Johnson immediately repaired for me so that my artwork would not sustain any damage. She was quick and attentive and worked so diligently to make sure it was fixed properly and completely. I so much appreciated that! When looking for a studio closer to my home, I worked with BEI again to obtain a space in the Cedar Avenue Business Center in St. Charles. Austin Dempsey, Scott Prudden and Kristen Johnson were so helpful and understanding of the needs of creatives! Our building has been growing with artists and it has made the location perfect. I appreciate BEI being easy to reach, approachable, willing to help in all ways possible, and appreciative of their tenants - often treating us like family. You don't find that in many places. To show how supportive they are of the artists in the building, they even allowed us to temporarily use some large office space in our building to curate and create an art gallery that we could open to the public. They are awesome! If you need a space, whether it be small or large, BEI is great to work with!

I am a Realtor. One of my clients recently purchased a townhome that Grandview was flipping. I've…read moreseen a lot of reviews from SELLERS, and they say that Grandview was terrific to work with. And, maybe that is true when you are selling to them. But the buyer experience was horrible. When we had our inspection we discovered that there were many things that had not been completed. The water to the sink and dishwasher wasn't hooked up. The shower door was not attached properly and fell off the track when we tried to open it. And much more. Grandview agreed to fix many of these things, but in the end they didn't fix everything. There was a huge hole on the exterior that was probably created by a woodpecker that they said they would fix, and they never did. The gas line to the fireplace needed to be sealed properly, and they didn't fix that. The shower door was never fixed. They did fix some items (like the water to the dishwasher and sink) but they left things in terrible shape afterward. The disposal/drain in the kitchen sink had some kind of putty around the drain in the sink that was just slopped on and not cleaned up. A workman must've been using one of the toilets and clearly missed the toilet - so there was pee all over the floor. The carpeting, which was new when we first saw the property, was stained in several places when we did our final walk through. And there were droppings in the house from an animal. And adding insult to injury, they did not provide a mail box key with the unit. The HOA is not responsible for this and neither is the post office. My client had to shell out over $200 to have a locksmith create a new key for the mail box and as of this writing, Grandview has refused to reimburse my client. The real estate broker that we dealt with from Grandview was not from the area (over an hour away) and refused to respond to ANY of our requests for assistance or answers to our questions about the property. Once the property was under contract they used the excuse that "this is a corporate sale" and that they couldn't respond to any requests - they said that we had to go through the lawyers. That is not how we usually operate around here. The Realtors work very hard, I work very hard, to make it to the closing table - the real estate broker is an employee of Grandview and was basically MIA from the entire transaction. If I could give a negative rating I would.

We had never heard of grandview realty LLC until my husband and I learned that they were the seller…read moreof the home we fell in love with. I did not love the price but we put in a $385,000 offer anyway. I found that it had been bought just a couple months prior from an elderly woman who lost her husband and needed to part with the family home. Grandview purchased at $262,000 and within a month put it back on the market at $399,900 with the mention of updated flooring and fresh paint. By flooring they meant extremely light colored carpet throughout. The home was marked down to $389,000 by the time we put our offer in. Although they stated in our contract that they did not pull any permits, I was able to see that they did obtain a permit to renew the roof for about $16,000 which helped us understand what was done if anything. The home was sold to us as is(the home inspection gave us a list of things to take care of) and the appraisal came in at $375,000. The company was unwilling to sell at the appraisal price or negotiate our seller credits so we could still receive full funding. So we lost all of our seller credits( about $11,500) and they gave us a DAY to decide if we wanted to go through with the "transaction" or "terminate the contract" which also meant forking out $10,000 out of pocket. Our closing costs were already about $18,000. This is where we developed our opinion of this company. This isn't a transaction. This is a life decision that effects our entire family. It felt like just business and we were nobody to them. Given a day to either let our dream home go or stretch ourselves financially as we began a new journey. We weren't asking for anything unreasonable. After a couple days in the home we have found broken things left and right. Any good company would inquire about a home they are buying especially if flipping it. We hope to purchase again in the future and we will be avoiding this company as a seller. Google and BBB states that Grandview Homes and Grandview Realty LLC are shared partners and operate together.
