Many also speak multiple Indian languages catering to all devotees. However, my recent visit after the new year left me with a bad impression due to the way one priest behaved. He was trying to put the poles to streamline people which is understandable. The temple was not crowded but given it was post new year there was a constant flow of devotees. This priest was yelling and screaming, completely disrespectful to the devotees. He was so loud that we could not even hear the priests chanting of the Archana. He completely ruined the sanctity of the temple. The same task could have been done in many different ways, without having to yell and scream and spoil the devotees experience. I hope this is not something that will be repeated, for I would love to go back for a peaceful visit.

This temple is a hidden treasure…read more Temple has idols/pictures of many deities including: Ganesh, Durga, Shiva/Parvati, Radha/Krishna, Kali, Guru Nanak, Sita/Ram, Hanuman, Brahman/Vishnu/Mahesh. The center of stage is adorned by a big idol of goddess Durga. It has a big shiva linga where we are allowed to do puja. The interior of temple is very spacious and am pretty sure the hall would be lend for functions. It's very close to the highway and easily accessible. There is huge parking place and a lot of place for street parking outside, so no don't have to worry about parking. Guruji, I couldn't ask for his name was very friendly. We were luck today to be able to reach during arati. It started at 10:00 am and went for about 15 minutes. There are many activities going on through this month. So glad that I finally came here for the Pooja and dinner of kitchari, dahl, paneer curry, and watermelon. I ate the watermelon first because fruit gets digested quicker. Then everything else. Finally the prasadam which was shira and raisins. So delicious! I liked that the menu was vegetarian and that there was no cruelty to animals. So much better than the Buddhist temple in Palo Alto that has a crab fest (never hear of Buddhists killing a living being before...I used to volunteer at a Buddhist kitchen in the Atlanta area and meat or seafood were never, ever on the menu at the World Peace Cafe Kitchen in Sandy Springs. The next time, I come here, I'm going to bring a couple of $20 bills to make a donation. Truly enjoyed this spiritual experience. A real boost to my mental health and happiness in very trying times (wildfire smoke and the pandemic). Overall though, God has been very kind.
