After my second visit I won't be taking my vehicle anywhere else again…read more Both times the service was incredible. This second time was during the Covid pandemic, with reduced hours I was told my vehicle wouldn't be ready before Monday after having it towed to them 11am Friday. Instead it was diagnosed, repaired and available for pick up by 1:30pm the same day. Every repair or part replacement that they have done for me has been explained in a way I understand even with limited vehicle knowledge, which has made me feel confident that I am not being overcharged or replacing unnecessary parts.

I made my first highway trip at the end of August just to get to Calgary and find out that as suspected I indeed still had a leak! Had to get my headcover & gasket changed! They would take no responsibility for not doing a better job! They let motor idle in shop but never took it out for a test drive to get up to highway speeds nor rmps! Had they done so I believe they might have found the leak!

After diagnosis, it was a top end issue Due to finances, I put another 52k on it before replacing the engine with new, not rebuilt. When the tech pulled out the original motor, he found major top end issues. 2 cylinders with low (not 0) compression, one cam lobe had a nasty score on it, but it still ran like a champ on the highway for the last 52k. Kudos to Ford/Mazda for a bullet proof V6. When I finally had time to get it to Maurice's, Denin gave me 2 estimates. The new engine was almost $3,000.00 LESS than a rebuilt. No brainer. New engine comes with 3 year, 100,000k warranty. Rudy did a fantastic job on the swap, even did a couple extra minor repairs. ( I thought I had a clutch problem, but just a pilot bearing.) I've taken both our vehicles to Maurice's Auto Care since I found him. I have known him personally for over 40 years and his shop's work is beyond reproach. Thanks to Maurice, Rudy and all the staff for a low stress experience.

They agreed. Was not done on time schedule agreed upon, fenders and hood were misaligned a rookie mistake. Paint began peeling on valance 6 months later. Third party mechanical repair which Kavia chose, attempted to overcharge on bill. After agreeing to fixed cost prior to work being done, then Kavia attempted to charge for nearly double the cost for a standard procedure. After complaining the second charge was removed. Not covered by s g.i., insurers are corrupt. Vehicle wasn't cleaned inside or outside. Would not recommend this shop to repair anything with wheels. Thank you.

His kindness didn't stop at all, he stayed genuine and helpful the whole time I was there. Not only was he very genuine, but he helped show me some things that my car was needing. There was no pressure to get it done at that moment, and he made the interaction very relaxing. Michael his co-worker was also very kind and took the time, to also explain things...these are the qualities that make me return to places like this. I dont necessarily need over-the-top schmoozing, I just really appreciate good -ol-down- to earth customer service. Thanks again!! Carson & Michael!!!

Please do not use these guys for ANY repairs. Neil and the…read moreboys at Import Auto or ANYWHERE ELSE for that matter is where id be going if I had any sort of import vehicle. I'm a Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic of 15 years but didn't have time to do the work needed so I took it to these guys as they claim to be "import specialists". I brought my Volkswagen TDI in to replace a clutch, dual mass flywheel and a RH lower ball joint. When I got the car back after the clutch repair I immediately noticed they changed the left hand ball joint; not the right hand one. The left and rights have different part numbers and are of a different geometry(they are not even interchangeable) When I started the car it had a service engine light on immediately that was not previously on. When I got back to my house I popped to hood to see DEF fluid spraying all over my engine bay. I quickly noticed that while doing the repairs on the clutch job they broke off the injector nozzle to my emissions system ($650 part from Volkswagen). I immediately went back into the shop the following day and voiced my concerns. They urged me to do an emissions delete rather than spending the money on replacing the injector nozzle. They admitted that the damaged injector was indeed their mistake and said they would do the necessary repairs to make it right. Three weeks later I picked up my car that was freshly deleted. However; they did NOT do anything to make it right. I was never credited with any sort of labour rate on the emissions delete for the damaged parts they broke while doing the clutch job and was charged for a ball joint installed on the wrong side that I later myself had to change the following day. I called Neil at Import Auto and got him to quote me for the same job. The quote he sent me to do the emissions delete was the same price as what Jason and his crew charged me. What started as a $1500 labour repair on a clutch job (I supplied the clutch) turned into an additional $2500 for a delete that I would never have had to do if they hadn't broke the injector. If I would have known they were going to charge me full price I would have just made them replace the $650 injector. I have left multiple emails with attached quotes from different shops asking for an explanation as to why with zero response. I can only imagine what this shop charges people that are not mechanically inclined. And I would be scared to see what a middle aged women's bill would be when she walks out. Extremely disappointing local shop. As an highly experienced mechanic; trust me, Do Not Go Here
