A lady came out and she purposely sick her 3 dogs on a one year-old that was looking at the pretty princess castle threw a car window., the lady was very rude and all three of her dogs put scratches on a brand new truck, we are not the only one who has had this experience. There's a few people on TikTok. Including a woman with a six-year-old daughter that the lady also sicked her dogs on do not go here it is not open to the public. After this experience, I would never recommend this for anyone and I hope and pray nobody gets hurt by her dogs. She literally told us that we have to call and then sick her dogs on us. Now if you're having a wedding at a castle out in what felt like the middle of nowhere Springfield you've got to do it in style. Dress code was standard wedding attire or Renfaire attire (it's a castle so come on). Not only was it very fitting for the couple that it was held at a fantasy castle, but that couple also does full armored medieval combat (Buhurt is the name of the sport) and had invited members of the St. Louis team (Legion of Honor) and their Springfield home team (The Iron Alliance). I run support for Legion of Honor and my wife flights for them so we got to be guests and participants. The whole event was excellent and there were no issues from what I could see (even with us throwing people around their lawn).

She has chairs, tables & linens to rent as well as some miscellaneous decor (candelabras, photo booth signs, etc.). The chapel is where the ceremony takes place. This is the original church that was built back in the 1800s and was restored in 2013 and 2014. Cathy did an incredible job with this restoration, as the pews and floors are original to the church. The reception hall is a decent size for an medium wedding. We had about 65 people and 8 round tables and we filled the room (granted some tables were empty in the back). The chandeliers were beautiful in the reception hall. The bridal suite was where I spent most of my morning with my bridesmaids and mom. It was perfect. There is a window AC unit which came in handy because it was 90 degrees on my wedding day in OCTOBER! There is an adjoining bathroom several large mirrors to use when getting ready. The groom's room was smaller and had a locking closet which was nice. The lighting in their room was pretty dark, but it only takes a little while to put tuxes on. Overall, I would recommend this venue to anyone. If I had to change one thing, it would be to make things a little easier for those in wheelchairs. The venue is technically wheelchair accessible but there were 3 or 4 locations in the venue my father had a very difficult time maneuvering because the lip of the floor would go up 2 inches or so. It was difficult to get his wheelchair over those humps. My wedding day was magical and the venue had a lot to do with that!
