My elderly mother wears wigs every day, but her choice in styles isn't terribly flattering. I wanted to see if she might find something nicer. Shop owner Mark Workman and his business partner welcomed me and asked a few questions about my mother's preferences and lifestyle. Then they showed me a few lovely wig styles based on my answers. They explained the different construction of each wig, the benefits of one vs. the other. These gentlemen were gracious, helpful, informative and completely low-pressure. Mark handed me a business card and encouraged me to call if I had additional questions. I was thoroughly impressed, as reflected in my 5-star rating. Holiday Hairs offers about 300 wig styles and accessories, from everyday styles to some wigs that are a bit more outlandish. I found out the store was also immensely popular last Halloween. I was in a big rush, the opening of the Circus was the next day and I still needed Makeup, a nose, a wig, and a bunch of other little accessories. One of the other guys in the Shrine Clown Unit recommended this place as THE place to get professional makeup and all the other stuff I needed. So the day before, I realize I can't even make it to the shop to even look at all the stuff they have, big problem. Solution, I call them, take up about 45 minutes of the poor girl that answers the phone, she walks me through what other products the guys in my unit like. She gets me on their website and it's just like being in the store. She made great recommendations that made my first weekend working the circus for the Shrine a lot less stressful and I had so many compliments on my makeup from all the veteran clowns. and I was able to do it all over the phone and have a good friend pick it up for me, Thanks Kit S.
