Guy showed up, took photos of my roof, was about there about 10 minutes. Paid him $400 cash-- He did NOT patch or fix the leak because it was still leaking the next day. He returned a few days later. Said he "got it this time". Again, it was STILL leaking. He refused to return & do the job I paid CASH for. He should be ashamed of himself for taking advantage of a single mom. Do NOT recommend for roof repairs. He didn't refund my money for not actually doing what he was hired to do.

Steve has been doing electrical work for my family for over 25 years (note that his Google listing…read morehumbly says "5+ years" which, in my opinion, doesn't adequately convey his long experience, including from his service in the US Navy). We recently bought a new home in the Berkshires and Steve has been there for us, addressing a few issues identified by the home inspector (e.g. ungrounded outlets), installing new dedicated circuits for air conditioners as well as other outlets we needed, installing sensor lighting outside, and ensuring that a nonoperating lamp post had been safely disconnected by previous homeowners. Steve is consistently responsive and reliable and his rates are very reasonable. He's a very thoughtful, thorough troubleshooter. Plus, he's just a joy to have around, a very kind person. If I could give him 6+ stars I would!

Update: Steve Drager finally came and finished the job…read more This electrician scammed seniors of $150 for a 30 minute visit (even less when deducting time spent looking at our garden). All while telling us only what we already knew, and then telling us to pick up a part ourselves. Steve Drager even led us on a wild goose chase to a local business that hasn't had an electrical supply department for years. Payment was made with the understanding that the job would be completed. But Drager is refusing to complete the job, and won't even answer the phone or call us back after 3 weeks.

Gable Electric came when I had a problem with my stand by Generator. The fella that came to my…read morehouse was Joe. He knew what was wrong and he also serviced the generator. Fast forward to November 4. The generator didn't star. When I called Gable they sent Tony. Soon to replace Joe. Not generator Joe another Joe. Generator Joe is "Old Joe". Tony looked at the generator mane it sounds like explosions several times, told me he didn't know much about generators he would send "Old Joe". I didn't hear from anyone and called a few days later. Woman said she would check and call back. She didn't call but later Tony called, said the generator couldn't be fixed. There were no parts available because my generator was too old. This was a lie. I called another that fixed the generator. The spark plug was the problem. Tony also told me I had to service the generator when it was only serviced in March. When Tony left he left the generator on so that later that night when we lost power it made those explosion sounds 7 or 8 times. The neighborhood was in an uproar. I never had such an incompetent worker in my presence. Terrible.
