What I like best is being able to turn on the fixtures in the showroom to see what they look like when they're lit up. The sales people on the showroom floor are helpful. If you don't see what you're looking for they might be able to order it for you. I used to think they only carried high end fixtures because there are expensive and amazing looking chandeliers located near the entrance. But if you look around, you'll find there's something for everyone including some flush mount ceiling fixtures for $29 and $49. Also look for advertised sales and coupons. I got some great discounts. After doing…read moreeverything we could (flipping the switch on the electrical panel in the apt, investigating the outlets and lights, having the super check the basement) we called 3 different electricians. Robert gave us his credentials and a quoted a competitive price, so we schedule. He was willing to come in the evening the next day. He talked through the problem to help me understand what might he going on, explaining along the way. He figured out what the problem was, but needed to trace the wire path to figure out where it was occurring. In the end, the job took 2.5 hours, and Robert charged us the price he quoted, which was than fair due to the time he took. He even offered to help clean up where we had to move furniture or where he had opened up a socket or light fixture. I recommend him.
