Needless to say there are numerous souvenir stores around the island. This particular store does stand out from the pack. The quality of the clothing and other wares is a little better while staying within the same price range as those other stores. It is a lot smaller than most of those souvenir shops but quality wise, it really shines. The primary articles for sale in the shop is clothing and shoe wear. Lots of shoes and sandles! They also have windchimes, bags, hats, glassware, swimsuits, puzzles, games and books, but I did not see much in the way of inflatables. This is the best place to get what you need: sunscreen, crocs, and special souvenirs that you won't find at every other place.

Was sick of all the "Junk" souvenir places. At IGA I found a flyer for Ship Shape & it had a 10% off coupon. It also said they had Crocs & I knew that meant it would be a little more classy. This is the BEST place to shop for souvenirs while in SPI. The clothing is high quality and priced to sell! Why spend $10 on a cheap t-shirt when you can spend a little bit more and get one that will last a lifetime! The owners were friendly and helpful and explained all the merchandise that was on sale. We had a great experience here! The staff greeted us immediately as we walked in and offered to help with whatever we needed. One gal spent a long time helping my husband find a pair of new flip flops, offering expert product advice about the brands. She also helped me find gifts for people back home, listening to me and offering good opinions. The prices are great and comparable to all the other chain beach shops, but you get the touch of true customer service here which you don't get at the other places. Coming from a retail background myself, I can tell that all the girls working there have had great training in customer service! Stopped in with my wife because another customer mentioned them when we were shopping elsewhere.... Greeted warmly upon arrival by both the clerks and the two owners. Didn't know us from Adam but treated us like old friends / and when we mentioned that we were looking for a certain brand, they went in the back and brought out new inventory that has just been delivered that morning. Finest retail experience we've both had in years. And guess what? We bought a lot of stuff. A lot. Nice to spend your hard earned money on quality merchandise sold by people who are truly grateful for your business. This is the ONLY store (and I tried quite a few of them on the island) where I found a white, cotton, short-sleeve, casual shirt in the XL size. And it was reasonably priced! So many stores seem to carry only polyster. Why? Why!? read more

Fun shop & found the best candle line, Lil' Flickers. My sister bought one to freshen our hotel room. Not only did it do the job, it filled up the hallway. People in neighboring rooms asked what we had. Went back to take several candles home!! read more
