Not impressed how they treated my daughter's friend when she was holding a Kendra Scott necklace. And when I went to buy her the necklace for her birthday (normally $58) we got a surprise when we were told $101 for the necklace. Asked about the reason for not a proper price tag on the necklace and was told they removed the tags because there was a price increase. We let them keep the necklace... Hope Renee's hasn't lost their customer service with new employees - if that's the case they've lost us as customers.

It also has offerings of bathing suits, jewelry, and day of the dead items. It's a great shop to check out, especially if you've just finished breakfast or lunch at Yummies next-door. We were also very hungry while waiting for her to make her selections. The owner brought out a bag of chips and some bottles of water for us to have while waiting. So that helped us all in the long run because we werent complaining and wanting to leave anymore, our friend was able to try on more clothes and the owner was able to maybe make more money of that sale. So then my first thought was, why am I the first one to write a Yelp review? In order to gain entrance you have to ring the bell and a nice older lady will come and unlock the door for you. Once inside you see a mix of wooden, metal and ceramic artworks. They also have handbags, swimsuits, some glassware and jewelry items. It struck me that this store seemed a little out of place, as if it belonged more in the area of the Woodlands near Houston, as opposed to the more pedestrian crowd on the island. Interestingly…read moreenough, I stumbled upon this shop based on a write up on a Houston based blog, Adored by Alex, and I'm so glad I stopped in! There's a good mix of chic and comfortable clothing, shoes, and jewelry. I was actually quite impressed with the variety in shoes, from sandals to slides to wedges. Some items were on the pricier side (think $50 for a dress), but some are quite affordable, plus their sale section had a few items to browse. I left with a top ($40), a romper/dress ($36), some blinged out slides (on sale for $15) and a hand sanitizer keychain holder ($18). One unique thing I appreciated was that even for their shoes that were on sale, they had additional sizes in the back! With most places, what is on the shelf is all they have, but it was different here (specifically for shoes). Also, the two ladies there were extremely sweet and pleasant, and even gave me some tips on places to check out. I had a great shopping experience and would definitely recommend and return!
