I love this place, it's so hard to find a good eyebrow place that is reasonably priced anymore. $14 for eyebrows AND upper lip. I switched to this salon a few months ago and this was my 3rd visit. I have left very happy every time! The woman who did my eyebrows took her time and made sure that all the hairs were gone and it was in the shape I wanted. She was also the only worker in the parlor when I went, and she still stopped every now and then to make sure I was pleased with what she was doing. The line was 7 people and she was by herself . You need to call ahead for an appointment as well because it gets busy and it seems there are understaffed at the moment. Highly recommend, and make sure you leave a tip!! read more

To be honest, I've been very patient with this location for several months. The business is not run well. They open when they want. They close when they want. They book appointments and aren't timely, when they want. If you don't call in advance to schedule, they won't go to work lol. It's truly pathetic and honestly such a crappy way to run a business. No work ethic! The workers/owner sit in their car and wait for their first customer, rather than entering the building and making sure it's tidy and professional. Seriously the best job I've ever had on my eyebrows. I haven't had them done in a year and usually waxed them because I didn't enjoy threading but they are SOOOOO symmetrical. ATTENTION UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP!!!! They are HORRIBLE!!! WORST EYEBROW THREADING IN MY ENTIRE LIFE!!! I use to be a regular customer here under the ownership of Purvi and Poonam who were amazing! As you can see I previously rated it 5 stars. Poonam and Purvi are no longer working here anymore as they sold it. I came in for eyebrow threading under the new ownership, and I had one of the girls do my eyebrows, and she made them much too thin. I wasn't happy at all, but I figured I'd give it another chance, and try the new owner to see if she was good. BIG MISTAKE! She took a large chunk off my left eyebrow!! It was unbelievable! I cried and cried because I could not believe this happened! I was missing a chunk of my left eyebrow. Since then I went to a different threading salon who advised me to put castor oil on it everyday so it would grow back. It took around 6 weeks for it to grow back in. Definitely do not come here!!! They do an awful job!!! Go to Huma Salon which is in Parlin that's where I've been going now for my eyebrows. read more

NOPE never coming back to this place for eyebrow threading. I mean hey it was nice they let me walk in when I called in and all but she just told me to sit down and I asked her "can you please leave my brows thick because another place I went to made them too thin" and she interrupt me and said "yeah yeah yeah" and then went on my brows but ... I am disgusted because when she came out she did not wash her hands and her hands reeked of curry and she kept poking my eye and took and grabbed my eyelash a lot with the thread. And once after I was super disappointed because they are thinner than the last place I went... great now I have to grow out my brows and they do take card but a minimum of 15 dollars or else you have to pay an extra 1 dollar fee which was not told when I was on the phone with and asked. Went inside the car to check it out in the mirror and she didn't even clean up... she did such a lazy job that she left a lot hairs in middle of my brows and outside my brows... I would avoid this place I am sorry ... I saw good rating on Google but I should of just checked on Yelp because I see a lady had a horrible experience with the eyebrow place... I bought a Groupon for a keratin treatment for $100. My hair is past my shoulder about mid-back length so I knew they would charge me extra and I was notified about the charges when I called to make an appointment. When I got to the salon, the lady asked to see me hair since it was up in a ponytail and said she would charge me an extra $75. That's absolutely ridiculous. At that price point I would go to a higher end salon. Mind you there was no one even in the salon and it's not upscale by any means. They continued to state my hair was thick and long (my hair isn't thick by any means but I do have a lot of hair). I was open to paying an extra charge but up to $50. I will be finding a better salon, preferably with better customer service. The salon is located in a strip mall that is a bit run down right off the route 9. I bought the Groupon based on the good reviews there but they clearly don't deserve those at least for hair appointments. read more

UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT. I got my Keratin Treatment done. The stylist Donna was very knowledgeable. She is also the owner. She did an amazing job . My hair was dry and frizzy. Now they are so relaxed. She uses Keratin complex treatment. Very experienced. Good job Donna. read more

My wife and my sister been coming to this salon for a long time. Recently there has been a change in ownership with a whole New staff. The new owner did my wife's eyebrows and literally threaded the whole top of her eyebrow off. My sister went to another girl for her eyebrows and they made her eyebrows super thin, and hers were also mismatched. Both are extremely upset as their eyebrows looked horrible especially my wife who has a big chunk of one of her eyebrows missing! Do not come here they do a horrible job with eyebrows! read more

I got my eyebrows done here and specifically told them to take a little off and just shape it up only. I expressed it several times to the lady. At the end when I saw my eyebrows I could not believe how thin my eyebrows were she took so much off. I told her this was not what I told her. RIP OFF DO NOT BUY KERATIN TREATMENT HERE. I purchased a keratin treatment through Groupon worth $100. Originally I was told there would be an extra charge due to my hair length. I was told it would be $125 in total. At the end of the appointment they claimed to say that it would be an additional $125 on top of the $100 Groupon I already purchased. As a college student I drive awhile to get a lower costing treatment, and not only was I overcharged (a total of $225), they were also extremely unprofessional. The lady doing my hair was talking on the phone several time while working in my hair and made me wait an additional hour in the middle of getting my hair done while she took someone else. Overall very unprofessional, unsanitary, and a rip off. read more

Punam was very skilled and the whole facility was great especially Punam. Now that it is under new management it is absolutely TERRIBLE. Went in for a routine haircut last week, and I was pleasantly surprised by the change in ownership. The new manager personally took care of me and was very patient throughout the entirety. I can wholeheartedly recommend Dona the beautician as having a great eye for each customers needs and preferences. She does a very thorough and non rushed job with a warmth that is very endearing. I don't get my eyebrows threaded regularly but when I do, I use to always come here, but today will be my last day. I just had them threaded but didn't know the store was under new management. When I got to the car, I realized that my brows were uneven... right one noticeably lower than the left and the left wasn't shaped right. I came on yelp to see if there were bad reviews and sure enough, a lot of people are unsatisfied and found out they are under new management. Guess i'll be going elsewhere from now on. read more

I have been getting my eyebrows threaded and arms waxed by Danu for YEARS. In the 7 years I've been going to Danu, my eyebrows always look absolutely PERFECT and I only trust her to do my eyebrows!! It's definitely very difficult to find someone good for eyebrows, I've tried many other stylists prior to Danu and was always displeased. I have thin eyebrows which aren't the easiest to work with but Danu ALWAYS makes my eyebrows look PERFECT!! I highly recommend Danu which is why I've been going to her for 7 years and only trust her with my eyebrows! She is also not only a good stylist but also polite and listens to me about how I want my eyebrows to look. 5 out 5 stars highly recommend!!! read more

This salon has recently been purchased by new management. Don't go here if you want to get your eyebrows ruined. I always used to go here before the management changed and they always did my brows perfectly and the staff was always very nice and welcoming. The new stuff is horrible. I don't feel welcomed when i walk in and they completely messed up my eyebrows. One is super thick and then there's the other which is barely there. The shape doesn't even match. One of the worst salons! Dirty, inefficient and expensive. I was told over the phone that I would be honoured the groupon rate of $100 for Keratin Treatment. My hair length is just over my shoulders (a little more than boys cut) . When I reached they said they would charge me $15 extra for my long hair even with a groupon. My question is: When you fix a rate do you expect women to have a boys cut???? It took them over 45 mins to straighten my shoulder length hair and the whole process took more than 2 hrs. And in this time the only thing they offered is water. I have done Keratin treatments many many times before each time in different salons. And in all of them the whole process took 1.5 hrs. All because they had a walkin and took him right before I came for my appointment instead of saying she had a client coming in now. Very disappointed! I recently had my eyebrows threaded but I have an event this weekend so I went for an easy clean up. I told the lady not to thin them and that I have sensitive skin. For anyone who has never gotten their eyebrows threaded, they ask you to hold the skin above and below the area they are working on so keep the skin taut (tight). So I was holding it tight and then she told me to put my hands down so I did and she kept threading but I felt it burn and started to hurt so I stopped her because I know that feeling means she cut me. When I looked in the mirror I saw she had threaded extra and now I had an abrupt gap in my eyebrow I have to pencil in till it grows out AND the other eyebrow she cut me pretty bad to the point I had pin point bleeding. When I told her, she denied it and said the gap was there before and the reason for the bleeding was because the skin wasn't pulled but she's the one that told me to put my hand down and I thought she was done that area so I did! On top of that she charged me and didn't even care to try to make it right. NEVER going back! read more
