Worst, Uncaring Doctor I've ever encountered in 50 years of needing care. I've had lymphoma and many health issues, so have encountered many physicians and surgeons over the years.
Evidently , since Dr Wong is an esteemed researcher and professor, he forgot that patients aren't slabs of meat to be treated with ridicule and disdain. He also hurt my arm during a cath and over 30 days later, it's still bruised and aches. His NP told me to go to the ER..that's it. After the procedure , my wife who is an internal medicine and emergency/urgent care physician asked some questions, which Dr. Wong treated as stupid and unworthy of his precious time. Dr Wong has got zero bed-side manner. I'm sure he'd prefer all his patients to have general anesthesia and be unconscious. Also his team let me lie completely naked on the cath table for a duration that was extremely humiliating. I would avoid Dr. Wong like the plague, even though he has lots of papers to his credit. Maybe he has academic credentials but he forgot about the patients and doesn't care about them at all. Somehow in placing the catheter in an artery in my arm to preserve the femoral artery for TAVR he slipped a needle into a bone or yanked some tendons. I have photos of my forearm that was black from wrist to elbow and he never thought to call me or ask about me. I don't know if his actions fill all the criteria for malpractice, but his doctor-patient skills don't exist. I am contacting NYU since I don't want Dr. Wong to ever touch me again. read more
