We have had an incredible 1.5 years at this daycare! They ensured he was well taken care of and provided a nurturing environment where he could thrive. Miss Anna and Miss Tanya were nothing short of amazing--they loved my child as if he were their own. They were like his aunts and grandmas, showering him with affection and care. Though they don't provide daily updates, it was a relief knowing they were busy creating wonderful memories and engaging the kids in fun, educational activities. My son grew up to be more social and confident, thanks to the loving environment and the friends he made along the way. If you are looking for a daycare that feels like family, this is the place to send your child. We couldn't have asked for a better experience! Our family will miss you dearly :)

I am forever grateful for Miss Anna and Miss Tanya!…read more We sent my son to Miss Anna when he was 16 months old. We were with a nanny before, so we were not sure what to expect from a daycare. As a first time mom, I was very nervous but Miss Anna helped me navigate parenthood. The first day, my son was crying during drop off (which is completely normal during the adjustment period), and Miss Tanya picked him up immediately and comforted him. Every day during drop off, Miss Tanya would be patient and hold him, which helped me feel better know that he is feeling safe. Because of her, my son was able to adjust very quickly in a few days! I can tell Miss Tanya truly loves the kids, which is the most important thing to me! They speak English and Russian, but the teachings are in English. We do not speak Russian but I think my son picked up a little Russian! Ever since going to Miss Anna's daycare, my son started speaking quickly and now won't stop talking! He loves his veggies and comes home telling me about his lunches, especially the pasta on Fridays! I can tell the food they cook are healthy because he poops so well. My son is a little over 3 years old now, so we've been at Miss Anna's for over 1.5 years. During this time, he has made such amazing friends, became fully potty trained, and comes home with new crafts and projects. It's been amazing seeing his growth with everything he is learning with Miss Anna. I already told Miss Anna that I will be sending my second baby as soon as they are ready to take him! :)

Our family is incredibly grateful to have EDCC. They are an extension of the school experience…read moregiving kids more opportunities to engage with their peers while also continuing the learning that they receive in the classrooms. Their program has expanded our daughter's school experience, providing her with stability, friendship, and community outside of school hours. From their Summer Program to school year schedules, it's apparent how much Ms. Ochoa and the other teachers care deeply about the children within their care. They pour their hearts and souls into the work that they do and we are so thankful to have them in our lives! They create themes, crafts, performance opportunities, and other avenues for children to thrive creatively while also providing a grounded structure that helps children thrive. Our daughter has grown socially and emotionally while at EDCC because of the support and care she's received from the teachers. They are attentive, caring, and patient, always willing to pause and be present with a child who needs extra love or support.

The onsite convenience, extended hours, and care on school closure/early release days provide the reliability we depend on. We were drawn to EDCC for its blended curriculum, and while our son has learned so much through the program, it's the exceptional staff who set it apart. They are warm, empathetic, and attuned to children's development, partnering closely with parents to support social and emotional growth. I appreciate the open communication they've established with me and I feel confident with their care. Our son loves being at EDCC and sometimes feels disappointed when we pick him up early. We highly recommend EDCC to families seeking high-quality after-school care.

I love this school. It changed my son in the 2 years that he has been there. He is ready for…read morekindergarten and he knows manners too! They offer many field trips and go above and beyond on the lessons they teach. They have dentists, policemen and their cars come to the school. They walk to the fire department station once or twice a year. They go to the pumpkin patch and so much more. They ask for parents to volunteer for these events so you can be included too! Bug week is a yearly favorite! You receive Mother's Day, Father's Day and most holiday gifts from your child. They usually have their hand print or some personal mark to them, that makes them all keepers. Miss Polly the owner is a very present owner. She knows your child and you, which helps to the very friendly atmosphere at Tots. They accept 2-5 year old children so if you start at 2 by the time your child is ready for Kindergarten, you will also know many of the parents and their children too! Oh the teachers!!! They are AMAZING! They love your child and get to know your child so well. My son will be talking about Miss Margie, Miss Patty, Miss Kristy and Miss Cathy well into adulthood. His memories of childhood include each and every one of them. They have helped him to become the boy he is today and the man he will be tomorrow. You get a daily reminder of what was taught and what food they had for lunch on the cubicles area. They have fun outside each day and learn to share with others and how to manage peers very well. Breakfast (cereal) is offered before 8am and you are welcome to bring food to the table if you prefer. Lunch is always a well balanced event and snacks are offered too. They offer care from 6:30am to 6:30pm. They give ample notice of days they are closed (major bank holidays). They take 2 teacher work days a year and you are made aware at the beginning of the year of what those days are. They do close for a week between Christmas and New Years, but most do. It was never a deal breaker for us. They provide Ouch Reports if your student has any issues throughout the day. I've received calls if my student has been injured or has a fever. I've read other Yelps about this location and honestly, I can't imagine what they are talking about. I have always been made aware of minor and major issues if they arise. They are not worry warts here. They call if there is an issue and they handle what they know they can. They also get a very good read of parents and have respected my "no band-aid" policy for anything that is not bleeding. The Ouch Reports even tell you that how they handled the issue. An example is "we provided ice for the boo boo and cuddled him until he was ready to rejoin his group". You can't ask for better TLC other than a mother's arms. They are mid level pricing, but you get so much more than you would at other locations. You get an education and love for your child in one place. You get peace of mind that your child is well loved and well taken care of. I have and will continue to recommend this location. My son had nothing but a wonderful experience here. I have known from the moment I walked in to look at the location that it was a good fit for our family. They have managed to take a very stubborn 2 year old and help mature him into a very age appropriate 5 year old. He is better for their love. He knows what he needs to be in the real world and he teaches us things we didn't know or didn't know he knew on a daily basis.

The daily updates were relevant and we knew of any concerns wrt food, or health pretty much real time. We would highly recommend this daycare for anyone looking for a loving, nurturing and safe place to send their little ones to.

Niki's Day Care was like our son's second home since the time he was just over 1yo till he was 3yo…read more Day cares are essential these days when both parents work. Plus, it'll give your kiddo some early childhood friends and build some social skills along with the ability to adapt to new surroundings. Things we liked best about Niki's: * Home cooked meals! I remember my son's first meal there and it was a blended Moussaka which he loved! Sure you'll get the occasional Costco Vegetarian Pizza but most meals are home cooked. *Birthdays and holiday celebrations were more prevalent in the first year, when there were 5-6 kids. Vili (the husband) would dress up like Santa each year. * Relative flexible schedules - core hours are 7:30am to 4:30pm which works for me. You can drop off before 12pm in case of appointments. * At full capacity, there might be 5-8 kids total, but I remember when my son was under 2 they always had Niki and her husband Vili provide care. Their daughter, Daisy also helped out too. For many other home-based day cares we were always concerned about the adults:child ratio for adequate care. My son is now in preschool full time so we no longer attend Niki's. However, we will always cherish our time there. Highly recommend them if you're looking for a warm, wonderful family to look after your kids.

My husband and I did so much research on finding the best daycare for our 18 month old son, and we…read morecould not be happier with Daisy's Daycare. Unlike larger institutions (ie. Panache, Stepping Stones, KinderCare, and Montessori), home run daycare's have a lot more flexibility to accommodate individual needs of the child. For instance, at KinderCare, I was so upset to see a photo of my son napping without his sleep sack on and he was wearing his shoes during nap time. How can you expect a toddler to sleep like that? Their response was that children needed to wear shoes for fire safety and the sleep sack may not allow him to keep his shoes on. Unbelievable. Another unfortunate reality if larger institutions is that they do not provide meals, let alone warm up food. Cold lunches are a norm, and parents are expected to use a thermos. At Daisy's Daycare, there is a much warmer homey feeling, and they have a diverse menu for the kids to enjoy. They not only provide nutritious, warm meals (they bake their own bread!), but the love you feel they have for your child is palpable. We were concerned about our son's language development, but he has since improved tremendously and playing with kids of different ages has really helped with this. When we pick up our son, they are always proud to share what he was learning, who he was playing with, and it's obvious my son loves spending time with them too. Some kids have a difficulty adjusting to daycare, and Niki, Villi, and Daisy work diligently to keep everyone happy and safe through this transition. As a first time parent, I didn't feel like there was anyone I could entrust my sons care to, and I felt an immense amount of guilt sending him to daycare. I no longer feel this way, and have such a peace of mind knowing that he is in good hands, and is happy and thriving.
