    The bar! It's great.

Our first stop here. We loved it. Wanted to make a stop here just to see and taste the offerings. We had a blast. Cathy took such excellent care of us too. The tasting was great. Shine Girl has a nice variety of exceptional shine flavors plus their take on Rum and Vodka. Nothing but great atmosphere and flavors. We also tried some of their signature cocktails: the Shine-a-Rita - Cathy's way; the Stubborn Mule and the New Fashioned! Loved them all! Of course we left with some bottles and merch, because we could! The vibe and hospitality here is off-the-hook. Do stop in if you're in town. We'll be back when we come this way again in the summer!

Off the beaten path with unique moonshine flavors that you won't find anywhere else. Their cocktails are reasonably priced and tasty. The bartender is friendly and helpful if you're undecided. The place itself is pristine and charming.

I wasn't impressed too much. I expected moonshine and it was all different vodkas. The bar drinks were good and very friendly service but just not a fan of vodka. The stars are for the service and the bar not the alcohol.

Great little find! Such a gorgeous, well thought out space. Absolutely LOVE the pink! We walked in and were greeted by the nicest people! We were offered a free moonshine tasting... who can say no to free?! Of course we couldn't! We were given so many flavors! Can I remember how many?! I blame the moonshine, but it was about 9 flavors. The coconut and red velvet moonshine flavors were my favorite! Not only can you try the flavors straight up, you can order cocktails. We ordered cocktails post samples and they were fabulous!! Everything was way too cute, so had to shop it up! Got a few shirts, coffee mug, and moonshine. Winning!!

Lovely spin on moonshine flavors that aren't similar to the other distilleries. Purchased a few bottles so friends back home can sample and hopefully visit when they go to Tennessee.

    The best two favors IMO

Such a hidden gem in the Smoky Mountain area with a great story! I love the concept of "girly moonshine" and that concept carried through to the space! The flavors are unique and exciting. The sampling is free and the moonshine is smooth and delicious. You can also get cocktails while there.

We decided to do the sampling at the recommendation of the 2 staff members there. We bought the sampling option $5 per adult, 8 samplings per adult not bad, for what you get. We went to the bar area and told to go to a kiosk to get tickets. We went and got the tickets, went to the bar, and stood there for a min, didn't get helped and the sampler server got summon to help a group of about 10 people wanting to do samplings. He left the sampling area, not acknowledging us, or setting us up before leaving. He was with the group for quite some time before we gave up went to the cash register, asked for a refund, and bought our bottles and left. I fully understand being understaffed, and having to juggle, but being ignored not even acknowledged, pass.

Wild bill was our tastemaker for the Tennessee Shine moonshine and his flare was very unique, I thought I was at an auction which each presentation sample he was about to pour. I even like the pickle juice which by this time I needed between pours. It helped reset my palette. I like the Bloody Mary Mix, crème and lemonade. Big Sexy was our tastemaker for the wine side. He setup our taste where I got to signal once all pours were complete, "Bottoms up"! It was so much fun! Nevermind that this wine including the warmed drink was tasteful, sweet and no ill aftertaste. We purchased TSW Chocolate Cream, Rocky Red Flat and Pigeon Forge Blush. Our tour also included a moonshine operation demo by one of the bartenders. It was educational of course. Such a great time was had!

Maybe "pet tolerant", but not "friendly": - hostess was visibly & audibly afraid of dogs. We have two sweet chocolate labs, not exactly menacing creatures. Why in the world would you send a dog-fearing employee to get us seated? - we expected an offer of a water bowl for our pups. Nope. Had to find a server and ask for one. - the outdoor area we sat at is enclosed & gated. A door separates this outdoor area from the inside dining room. In spite of this, 10 minutes after being seated, a separate employee came out and simply said "do yall have leashes?" 1- of course we do, you saw us walk them in. 2- no greeting or "hey, I'm blah blah"... cold & impersonal. 3- why bother with the cost of a gated enclosure if pets have to be leashed anyway? We've been to many pet-friendly restaurants. You are NOT pet-friendly. You happily took our money for the meal, and added a 20% gratuity yourselves (which was not earned btw), but you barely did enough to accommodate our pups, let alone be considered "friendly". We didn't feel they were welcome, and certainly no "friendly" environment experienced. We won't be back. See how Calhouns defines "pet friendly". Y'all might learn something. To diners with pups: You want "pet friendly"? Skip this place.

When you want to get drunk, but you also need your drink to look electric blue and taste like raspberry, you come here. I'm not the biggest fan of sweet drinks in general, and especially not sweet alcohol. But I wasn't about to pass up an opportunity to taste some of Old Forge Distillery's moonshine and gin. They also make vodka, whiskey and rum. The gin was good! It doesn't taste like traditional gin, because they age it in bourbon barrels, so it has a little bit of a caramel taste to it. (In my opinion.) The moonshine and the cream liqueurs are where you will find the crazy flavors. I think my favorite was the coffee moonshine, which tastes like a wonderfully spiked black coffee. Samples are plentiful. The bartender told us which ones were crowd favorites, and also recommended some that I would not have picked myself. They also have a huge gift shop with lots of tchotchkes, plus bottles of their goods to take home with you.

Lance was our tastemaker/ bartender and our tasting was curated as part of a tour. Lance was knowledgeable about the moonshines being sampled, offering insights into its flavors and made sure we understood you don't have to drink full pour and he'd provide a new sipping cup. Most lived upto flavor, very potent in alcohol content as Lance explained with each sample. Logan gathered our order together and because of a coupon we got a feee shot glass. Overall, we had a fun experience here and recommend this shop to others!

Yes, tastings are free at most of the wineries and distilleries in town, but you're paying to get to them all safely (and without the hassle of trying to park) and hit them all in the same day. And I witnessed firsthand that we got more options to sample than people who just came in off the street. It sounds like there used to be an issue with one winery not giving full samples, but they are no longer a stop on the tour. We hit around 9 places: -Smith distillery. We liked this place enough that we returned later in the week. Really great service. The sweet tea flavor was a favorite. -Applewood Farm (two stops with wine and cider). I preferred the cider, actually, and it was nice to try something different. The cider slushies were delicious. Time didn't allow us to return her, but if we stay in Pigeon Forge again, I'd like to explore the Farm a little bit more. -Most of the other wineries blurred together, which isn't a complaint. They served really similar wines and even had similar decor. Most specialize in sweet wines, which isn't normally my thing. Tasting them is still fun, though. We bought a couple of bottles along the way. -Old Forge Distillery. We missed the first half of the tour, but there were still a lot of samples, and we came back on our last day, did another tour, and bought some bottles. Oatmeal cookie and elderflower were two favorites. -Mill Bridge Winery. This was my favorite of the wineries. First, it was really pretty inside. The woman who led our tasting was very knowledgeable, and the range of wines was more unique. We bought a bottle of Indian Summer. -Tennessee Moonshine Company (with an attached winery for tasting). Maybe my least favorite of the distilleries, but it was still pretty good and had some unique flavors. -Junction 35. This place was way more modern than the other spots, and it was a good ending to the tour. We wound up coming back here, too. We enjoyed getting to know the other people on the tour. I think there were 22 of us total, which was a decent number. The bus was pretty hot/cramped, but I think that should be a given. We weren't on it for more than 15 minutes at a time, so it wasn't a big deal. I would definitely suggest this tour to other adults looking for a fun way to spend a few hours.
