The owner, Carlos, was quick to respond & easy to work with right from the start. His professional manner, flexibility, and competitive rates were the deciding factors for hiring Villegas Cleaning Service. Carlos & Maria arrived on-time, masked, and with all of their necessary cleaning supplies. Upon confirmation of the agreed services, they immediately got started. Everything was cleaned with such attention to detail. Their passion and work ethic simply 'shined' through the results. I was so impressed with everything! Carlos & Maria really went above and beyond. To say it again--my apartment seriously ended up *cleaner* than when I first moved in!

They offered me an initial deep clean and they took care of areas that I would have never thought about cleaning myself. I thought that I was being really picky about materials used and they asked if there was a preferred material used for cleaning (which I provided) and they were open to using my materials. Some of the other companies I spoke to refused to use anything but their own cleaning materials and this just gave me peace of mind. My master bathroom was awesome. It made me so happy to come home to a clean bathroom after a long day of work. The kitchen was amazing! They gave me a discount for locking in a bi-weekly service and I'm so glad that I did! I highly recommend this company. Angie is an amazing person to deal with! Thank you Neat and Fresh!!!

My mother recently hired Zerorez to clean the carpeting in her Oceanside home, and unfortunately,…read morethe experience was extremely disappointing. The carpeting was in good condition before the cleaning, but after Zerorez completed the job, the carpet looked worse than it did before they arrived. The edges of the carpeting were left dirty and black. When we questioned this, we were told that Zerorez does not clean the edges of the carpet. This was never made clear to her before she paid for the service. What is even more frustrating is that after the problems were reported, Zerorez sent a manager and additional people out to look at the carpet. Unfortunately, despite several people coming out to inspect the situation, no one was willing to take responsibility or offer a satisfactory solution. My mother spent a significant amount of money expecting professional carpet cleaning and instead was left with carpeting that, in our opinion, looks worse than it did before the company came. Customer service is not just about showing up and collecting payment. It is also about standing behind your work when something goes wrong. We are extremely disappointed that Zerorez has chosen not to take responsibility for the condition of the carpet after their service. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend Zerorez and would not use this company again.

Such a disappointment. I so wanted to have the wonderful experience other reviews shared and that…read moreMaria promised (to both my mother-in-law and me). Unfortunately, the two team members who did our scheduled "deep clean" did no such thing. In fact, I ended up contacting Niche and Clean minutes after they left because: They did not clean the oven or refrigerator (part of deep clean services). Additionally, they did not thoroughly clean bathroom (shower wall still had mildew/build-up). So, they returned 10 minutes after they left and cleaned shower and refrigerator. They forgot the oven. Again. After they left the second time, I noticed they dusted around items on end tables. So I had to dust myself. My agreement with Maria when we scheduled deep cleaning, was: 1 bedroom, 1 office, kitchen, dining room, family room, refrigerator, and kitchen. We agreed on a discounted price (she took $60 off total) in exchange for a couch in our office that we are not using. Her team did not even end up cleaning the one bedroom and, of course, did a terrible job in bathroom, family room, and kitchen. While Maria was gracious and tried to schedule a time for her to return so she could clean our oven herself, our schedules did not work. Then, this: 1) She texted last week requesting payment AND to say she needed to pick up the couch. 2) Since I did receive anything close to satisfactory service, I said I was not going to pay for services that were unsatisfactory. In retrospect, I can see that was a pretty unreasonable statement and a reach for me; I imagine how unsettling that would be for a business owner to hear. That said, she did tell my mother-in-law that if the job isn't done well, there would be some recourse. 3) An hour after her text, Maria shows up on our doorstep demanding payment in cash or Zelle (we had neither). She wanted the full, not the negotiated payment (since she was not going to pay $60 for our couch). I completely understand paying for services. I do NOT understand demanding FULL payment, without offering a discount for service recovery. Yes, Maria was so kind and tried several times to return and clean our oven. But - what about the other things her team members missed? They had to come back 10 minutes after they left to clean things they missed. Regardless of the oven or the couch - there seemed to be NO consideration for the one bedroom they did not clean OR for the generally poor quality of what they did clean. Maria's defense for this was, "But I already paid the two workers. So now I lost money because I already paid them." I am not sure if or how her team members were paid their full rate (apparently they have since been let go). And I am definitely not sure how that responsibility was placed fully on me. I understand that my complaints about unsatisfactory cleaning services pale in comparison to most issues people are facing. I also think this information (or ratings in general) can be useful. I think those of Maria's clients who receive wonderful/stellar service are lucky. I know she has loyal and appreciative customers. I am so disappointed this was not our experience. ***Thank you for your response, Maria. Wish it worked out for us!
