I asked for help choosing traditional Burmese dishes and I had Burmese tea leaf salad that I have wanted to try forever and a great noodle dish. I was told that the tea leaves and crunchy beans in the salad are imported directly from Burma/Myanmar. I've been looking for a way to try this dish for years and wow, it is absolutely incredible at this restaurant. The owners were very friendly and helped me pick out dishes from their menu. Talking to them it turned out that they have many, many years of restaurant experience and it shows here. I can't wait to visit again and try more new-to-me foods. Really, this kind of experience is what I think is making Grand Rapids the interesting place I want to be part of. Kudos to these chefs.

Most restaurants over cook broccoli, but both of our dinners had delicious broccoli that was still tasty and crisp. On top of the delicious food, the service was prompt and pleasant, the prices were good, portions were quite generous (we could have shared a meal), and we had a nice chat with the owner.
