I checked the roof to see if they had waxed it yet, and mentioned it to the person that it was still dry. The cashier told me he's the best, and I assumed he would get it. I walked off and waited until he was done. At 610pm, my van was ready. I checked the roof again, and still dry. I told the guy, and he told me he got to the places he could reach, which wasn't very high, because it was all unwaxed. They told me to return the next day so they could correct it... But they had the van for 9 hours. The cashier offered to take off the oversized fee, but still rang me up and forgot to apply my coupon for $20 off. When I got home I noticed it hasn't been buffed out and the back door was not waxed. Bummer. $130 for a 15 min job. Whatever. Getting a car detailed in fxbg is hit or miss. Very understanding, even when I was embarrassed by the sticky, layered mess that was my vehicle. I was able to see them cleaning it. They took everything out from my secret storage areas and cleaned. They got up on a ladder and hand-washed the top of my vehicle. I've added some pics. The before involved grease stains and spilled soda and who knows what other grossness. When I went out and saw it for the first time, I almost cried! I can't physically do it myself, so I was blown away by how amazing it looked. They got stains out i never thought would be clean. I felt like I would soil its pristine perfection by sitting in my own car. lol Cannot recommend enough! ps - they have a doggo in the office, who is a sweetie! Based on my extensive research and reviews seen here, I decided to take my vehicle to this young…read moreman (Brian). While I have to say that his customer service skills are impeccable, the quality of his work is not. My 2016 GMC Yukon had a rip into the metal as a result of my son backing his truck out of a parking lot and scraping the driver side rear passenger door. When we met, he provided several ideas in how to get the issue corrected and we ended up deciding to cut the metal off and reinstalling a new piece that would've / should've looked like factory. My understanding is that he used a 3rd party that was supposed to cut the piece out and weld the new material in for him to work on and paint it. The final product was a little messy but he assured me that with time it would clean up and look nice. Well.. months have gone by, the vehicle has been washed a few times and it still looks very crappy. Plus the installation of the inner door panels was terrible. The door lock mechanism where the button goes up and down doesn't work and I now need a new door that will run me about $2500 with paint and labor. I attempted to capture as much detail as I could ,but the rear door looks far worse in person than it does here in the photos. The color also doesn't help in seeing the details but trust me... the job looks terrible in person. After using the reviews from here in deciding hiring this young man.. I needed to report my experience so that others don't fall for the same mistakes I did. Nothing personal.. whats done is done and I wish him well. He's just not the bodyshop you're looking to trust your high valued possessions to. That's all. Good luck to you all.
