Mike was very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful to any questions I had about ceramic coating and it's whole process. The outcome had me speechless when Mike and his team were done with my car. I dropped off my VW MK7.5 GTI to get a full car ceramic coating, along with wheels and brake calipers. The results were fantastic and after a year, the coating still stand strong! They didn't have time to extend my existing appointment, so they worked with me to get me in the same day for the second-tier (3-4 hours) clean. Joel was so kind and accommodating. Very understanding, even when I was embarrassed by the sticky, layered mess that was my vehicle. I was able to see them cleaning it. They took everything out from my secret storage areas and cleaned. They got up on a ladder and hand-washed the top of my vehicle. I've added some pics. The before involved grease stains and spilled soda and who knows what other grossness. When I went out and saw it for the first time, I almost cried! I can't physically do it myself, so I was blown away by how amazing it looked. They got stains out i never thought would be clean. While I have to say that his customer service skills are impeccable, the quality of his work is not. My 2016 GMC Yukon had a rip into the metal as a result of my son backing his truck out of a parking lot and scraping the driver side rear passenger door. When we met, he provided several ideas in how to get the issue corrected and we ended up deciding to cut the metal off and reinstalling a new piece that would've / should've looked like factory. My understanding is that he used a 3rd party that was supposed to cut the piece out and weld the new material in for him to work on and paint it. The final product was a little messy but he assured me that with time it would clean up and look nice. Well.. months have gone by, the vehicle has been washed a few times and it still looks very crappy. Plus the installation of the inner door panels was terrible. The door lock mechanism where the button goes up and down doesn't work and I now need a new door that will run me about $2500 with paint and labor. I attempted to capture as much detail as I could ,but the rear door looks far worse in person than it does here in the photos. The color also doesn't help in seeing the details but trust me... the job looks terrible in person. After using the reviews from here in deciding hiring this young man.. I needed to report my experience so that others don't fall for the same mistakes I did. Nothing personal.. whats done is done and I wish him well. This is a very difficult situation which merits my pause as a client. There are many opinions…read moreabout this carwash which relate unfortunate deficiencies. I I found the self car wash portion of the business severely diminished because of inadequate soap and car wax in the bay used. In fact, the wax used was ineffective; there was literally inadequate beading of water; indicating diminished wax or none at all. I complained. The employee was not helpful and only gave me three vacuum cleaner coins; priced at 75 cents each as full and final. The car wash should post signs when wax is not available. The car was failed to do so. In fact, there is absolutely no problem with no wax offered if a sign is posted. In my opinion, the car wash violates standards of care as compared to other car washes. In addition, I have factory issued mag wheels on my car and although the automatic car wash is better than the self car wash; the equipment damaged my wheels. The complaint was made to the same employee and told me they dont cover custom wheels other than factory. My wheels are not custom; they came with the car and I brought it new. The standard of service here is questionable. Did I have a nightmare or bad day? Standard of service in Spotsylvania, VA requires wash soap and wax in a self operated car wash except where posted. There were no signs posted. For example, there is no posting that the car wash does not guaranteed self car wash wax services; although the employee claims he had no memory of ever "unloading wax sup-lies for the self car wash portion of the business". The employee was not customer oriented; pretending that the car wash to his knowledge did not offer wax on the machine. In fact, he stated no memory of unloading wax when resupplied. I truly believe this could be a great car wash. It's in a great location. What I would like to see is better equipment, supplies, and customer service. Finally, the employee was none confrontative and appeared level headed but did not discuss the deficiencies to my satisfaction.
