Everything is broke and ran down here. Was recommended to utilize the carpet shampooer for my seat saturated with urine. No machines work and the office is closed for maintenance! Just shut down already read more

This is a very difficult situation which merits my pause as a client. There are many opinions about this carwash which relate unfortunate deficiencies. I I found the self car wash portion of the business severely diminished because of inadequate soap and car wax in the bay used. In fact, the wax used was ineffective; there was literally inadequate beading of water; indicating diminished wax or none at all. I complained. The employee was not helpful and only gave me three vacuum cleaner coins; priced at 75 cents each as full and final. The car wash should post signs when wax is not available. The car was failed to do so. In fact, there is absolutely no problem with no wax offered if a sign is posted. In my opinion, the car wash violates standards of care as compared to other car washes. In addition, I have factory issued mag wheels on my car and although the automatic car wash is better than the self car wash; the equipment damaged my wheels. The complaint was made to the same employee and told me they dont cover custom wheels other than factory. My wheels are not custom; they came with the car and I brought it new. The standard of service here is questionable. Did I have a nightmare or bad day? Standard of service in Spotsylvania, VA requires wash soap and wax in a self operated car wash except where posted. There were no signs posted. For example, there is no posting that the car wash does not guaranteed self car wash wax services; although the employee claims he had no memory of ever "unloading wax sup-lies for the self car wash portion of the business". The employee was not customer oriented; pretending that the car wash to his knowledge did not offer wax on the machine. In fact, he stated no memory of unloading wax when resupplied. I truly believe this could be a great car wash. It's in a great location. What I would like to see is better equipment, supplies, and customer service. Finally, the employee was none confrontative and appeared level headed but did not discuss the deficiencies to my satisfaction. read more

Half of the pressure washer or soap ones are broken and need repair, it's good for price but not for quality of what's on hand to use to clean your car. They just need to maintain it better and have better equipment. read more

washed my car today ,used credit card option ,when i hit stop to end cycle price was less than 4 dollars ,later in the day i was checking my card charges and was charged 10 dollars .whats up with that since i did not see a minimum card fee posted ,dont think i will return also everything is also ran down and dirty read more

Bring your attorney! Home made pressure washer wand is too short to stay in the holster. Once that 8th quarter hits, the spray gun rises out of the storage tube, flies around the booth. If you grab it by the water, the pressure stream will open up your skin. 21 May 2025 read more

I really like this Self Service Car wash! It works well for my wash style. I have a mid size truck. No washing truck beds though. Just letting you know in case you have a dirty truck bed. I believe it has three wash bays. I believe the price is comparable. There are enough Vacuum Stations to accommodate several vehicles. The directions are easy. It takes coins or payment cards to operate. The time system seemed fair to me. Push "stop" button when you're done! It was not too busy Monday afternoon. I had to wait 7 minutes for a bay to open for my turn. This is my new "go to" when I want to hold the water sprayer. I don't recall seeing an air dryer but maybe there is one I missed. I think they have a touch-less option. I get the microfiber dry towel from the "Detail Garage." They (Detail Garage) sell an awesome dry towel and great DIY car wash/detailing products! Dear owner... an idea... Maybe some kind of partnership with them could help... only if you want to expand though! That could also overwhelm the bays. read more

Pretty well run down and otherwise not a desirable place to wash your car. The overhead bracket for the soap brush was busted and hanging down along the wall - the guy working there said he couldn't do anything about that and walked away. They're really not worthy of the name car wash. read more

I have been going to Courthouse Car wash for many years and was very satisfied. It has changed hands recently and the level of service has suffered. I handed a coupon (from a book that I had purchased) to the attendant and he sneered " oh, a free wash". On two occasions, when using complete service coupons I had purchased, several of the services were not performed. I have complained but nothing changes. Unless something changes, I'll be going elsewhere. read more

Greetings from Spotsylvania, VA. :-D Even though it's a bad day or getting the car washed (scattered showers and thunderstorms), I needed to get rid of some of that road grime after 3,100 miles of driving in this wonderful country of ours. So, I was in the area or something else, so I decided to see what type of car washes that were in the area. Obviously, I didn't want to go through a full-service car wash with the chance of rain at any time. So I looked up the self service car washes, and this one was right up there. It does a good job at a good price. I'm happy. read more

This place has gone to hell since new ownership. Used to be great before that. Now, lazy kids run it that clearly don't want to be there or care about doing a good job. Half the time, they don't make sure the correct buttons are pressed to make the dryer come down toward the car, completely negating getting the car washed. Sometimes they scrub your wheels, other times they don't. No consistency. Oh, and that's if they're even open. Speaking of consistency, they just randomly close during posted business hours. So you never know if they'll be open when you get there. Give your money to a business that wants it and it is willing to earn it. Courthouse Carwash is not that business. read more

awesome place! this my go to place for a car wash and oil change. the lady is amazing and was very helpful in maintenance for my car

This is the worst car wash in Fredericksburg. I have a monthly pass I pay for. Every time I go here to get a wash they are always closed. It's 10-15-2022 @ 2:45 pm and of course they are closed. I will be canceling my membership with them the coming week. They only have 4 of the 8 vacuums working and the rest of course are broken. It's been like this for 3months or longer. The current owner doesn't care about his business. Half of the car wash has stuff that don't work. He has no plans on fixing it either. Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere. There hours r supposed to be 9-5pm. It's only 3:00pm and just saw the employee close up and got in car and left. read more

To be honest, I'm disappointed. I have been a customer of Courthouse Car Wash for 20+ years, and even though I only get my car washed 4x a year on average, they have always done a great job removing the grime, especially from the rims. This past weekend, I brought in my filthy car, and noticed immediately that the prices went up. When I asked, the guy informed me they were under new management. With practically everything going up in price, I could let it go if the quality remained the same. However, the technician spent a fraction of the time scrubbing the wheels, and barely scrubbed the front and rear bumpers. The automated part of the wash seemed to be the same, until I got out of my car to vacuum and touch up, when I noticed that there was no tire protector applied (which I paid for) and grime still left around the license plates and rims. As my daughter and I vacuumed the car out, I noticed that the car that was right behind me in line did not follow me out until a considerable amount of time later. Huh--is it any coincidence that he had a "Courthouse Car Wash" license plate frame?? Maybe he got better service because he was a member and I did not--who knows. But at any rate, I don't think I got what I paid for ($16). Also, they are no longer doing coupons off future washes. I am sad to say that I am going to look for a new car wash. It's disappointing because they were the best in town until recently. read more

I got the works but note to self don't get it again because the tire shine doesn't look like it sprayed on my tires. When I got home my husband said I thought you was getting your car wash and I said I did and he said you need to take it back and get your money back cause it looked just like it did when you left. The attendant was really nice. read more

This car wash was awesome in cleaning my car! I got the works because it was the best deal and man was I impressed! The owner was also very nice and prompt when accommodating my needs! Will definitely be going back and recommending to my friends. read more

I would like to share an example of excellent customer service that I experienced at the Courthouse Car Wash on Thursday, August 30. I had parked under a tree for a couple of days and the front of my vehicle was covered with sap, bird droppings, and bug remnants. On the way home from work I pulled into another local drive-through car wash and paid extra for bug and sap removal. Didn't notice until I got closer to home and stopped at a light that the hood of my car was as bad as it was before I drove through that car wash. I then decided to see if Courthouse Car Wash was still open. I pulled in at 6:55 pm, hoping there would be somebody there to help. The young man working who was getting ready to close did his upmost to scrub and spray until almost all of the sap, etc. was removed. And not only that, he took the time to educate me on what I can could do to prevent the same thing from happening again. He really modeled superior high standards and I will be returning to Courthouse Car Wash in the future, thanks to him! read more

This carwash always does a great job with my car, and I love that they don't use acid. I usually go when Grady is working, and he is always so pleasant and thorough. I will never get my car washed anywhere else! read more
