He told me he had to replace the internal cartridge to the main faucet which would cost $325 including the service call. After he installed it and it was working he showed me that the push in/out knob that controls the on/off for the shower head was in the off position which was the reason it did not work! it wasn't broken and didn't need anything! when I said you are a plumber, you should have checked and told me about that first, his answer was," we don't know all Faucets, consider it a learning lesson". I called my old plumber that I used at my prior home and he told me absolutely any plumber would check the basic on/off knobs first before doing any work. Do not use this company!! i may be the idiot who didn't know this was just a push /pull knob but this company is not ethical at its worst, or at the very least, not knowledgeable and incompetent.

Arrrrggghhh. It turned out that the moronic sellers, may they be cursed unto seven generations, had WELDED the hose to the faucet. Loathesome creatures. Anyway, I shut off the water to the house and went out to get a new faucet. I was not inclined to drive to Riverhead. Arrived at this store, and a pleasant older gentleman brought me a new faucet and Teflon tape. He apologized for not having a blue one, but I told him that I didn't care. I asked if I have to tighten it with a wrench, and he said that I do. Ugggghhh again. Very well priced faucet! This isn't a store where you can browse. You state what you need and someone gets it for you. I hope that I don't NEED to return, because that means something ELSE is leaking, but if I do, I expect an equally easy transaction.
