But if you're looking to have an event here, they do offer tours so check out their site for availability. Parking: The parking available on the venue is on gravel. Vibe: The flowers and greenery around the entire venue were beautiful. I loved how seamless the venue, bridal suite, and reception area flowed. The bridal suite is so big and has a large kitchen area with a fridge; a living room area with a couch and several chairs; a bathroom with a shower; a room that was used for hair & make up; and a front and back porch. The main venue space has a downstairs space that was used as both the reception area and the dance floor. I enjoyed celebrating my friends at this beautiful spot! I think it would be a great spot for weddings, vow renewals, and/or other large events.

I attended a wedding earlier this month (August 2021) at The Wildflower Barn at Little River. I had…read morea great time. For my wife and me, it was our first wedding since November 2019 (pre-COVID). Personally, the vaccines have been a game-changer for us and we felt comfortable at this indoor-outdoor gathering of about 90-95 people. Plus, we didn't want to miss this. We came in from out of state to make it. At first, I got The Wildflower Barn at Little River confused with Little River Farms, the wedding and special events venue next door. The two venues, plus Brick & Ivey in Marietta, are owned and operated by the same group. I believe there was another wedding going on at Little River Farms at the same time because when I pulled up to The Wildflower Barn at Little River, there were folks with signs directing people which way to go depending on which couple's wedding they were attending. The parking was valet in a gravel driveway and parking lot, which I was not expecting. The valet guys were nice and did a good job. The ceremony was held outside, unplugged. The cocktail hour was held inside and outside. The dinner reception was held inside the barn. And there was a beautiful lantern send-off outside, the way we came in. Everything was well-organized and went off without a hitch, as far as I could tell. For an event with about 90-95 people, I thought the size of The Wildflower Barn at Little River was appropriate. Over 100, I suspect it may start feeling tight. Overall, I thought the venue was beautiful, particularly the outside with all the plants and well-manicured landscaping, whimsical string lighting, and farm feel. Inside, the reception space felt open and modern. The space was very well lit and also well ventilated and air conditioned. At the reception dinner, a served buffet was catered by Southern Charmed Catering by Little River Farms. I thought the food was delicious. It consisted of a fresh spring mix salad with choice of honey balsamic or ranch dressing, green beans amandine, whipped buttermilk potatoes, mesquite-grilled chicken breast, pork chops with maple bourbon beurre blanc with sweet and spicy BBQ sauces, and dinner rolls. During cocktail hour, there were two hors d'oeuvres, chicken satay (skewers) and crab rangoon. During both the cocktail hour and reception, there were two open bars, one inside and one outside. King of Pops was on-site as was Pearl's Tea of Suwanee (bubble tea). Robot Booth provided the fun photo booth and DJ Rylan with DJ Cuttlefish, the team of DJs associated with Robot Booth, was the emcee and provided the music (playlist by the bride). I was told the wedding cake was by Angel Bakery, located inside Hong Kong Supermarket in Norcross, and additional dessert cake was provided by Nothing Bundt Cakes. I was familiar with all of the vendors except for Angel Bakery which I think is well-known among the Asian (specifically, Vietnamese) community in Gwinnett. The cake was excellent. My wife and I really enjoyed ourselves at The Wildflower Barn at Little River. I think it's an ideal wedding venue depending on what you're going for.

From the food, to the flower arrangements, to the brilliant decorations, everything was perfectly outstanding. Mahi and her entire team were such a pleasure to work with as well. Mahi and her team seriously made our dreams for our wedding day come true, and we can't say enough great things about our experience with this venue. Thank you!! Kevin & Alina

Review of Roswell Historic Hall: A Bride's Nightmare…read more I am deeply disappointed and frustrated with the service provided by Roswell Historic Hall during our wedding reception on April 27, 2024. Our experience was far below the expectations set during our initial meetings, leading to numerous issues that marred what should have been a joyous occasion. Shuttle Service: The shuttle service was a disaster. Despite scheduling pick-up times, the shuttle was over an hour late. Elderly guests, some requiring walkers and canes, were left standing for long periods. Many guests ended up walking to the venue, crossing Alpharetta Highway, which was unsafe and unacceptable. Additionally, several groups of guests waited over an hour for the shuttle to leave after the event, with the driver nowhere to be found. My father and other guests had to personally search for the driver behind the bar multiple times. Police Officer & Staff: Despite paying $500 for a police officer, no officer was present. This was a clear breach of our contract, and I demand an immediate refund. Initially, there was no bartender at the cocktail service, leaving guests to serve themselves. My friend had to ask for help with the margarita machine, only to be told to calm down when she needed assistance. The waitstaff were largely absent, choosing to hang out in the kitchen and tent area instead of serving guests. Food and Beverage: The quality and quantity of the food were extremely disappointing. The charcuterie display was tacky and insufficient for our 160 guests. Many guests, including my daughter, went hungry. The cocktail hour spread fell far short of what was promised. I had to ask for more food to be put out, which should not have been necessary. The champagne toast was another fiasco; I had to text you to start opening the champagne despite our prior discussion. Decorations and Cakes: The cookie table was not placed as agreed and was nearly empty when I checked it. I had to restock it myself, which is unacceptable. The cakes were displayed without any decorations, and the cake topper was not placed until I did it myself. The cake was not distributed to guests, resulting in a $700 loss as many guests did not receive any, and we had no leftovers to freeze for our anniversary. Organization: Throughout the evening, I had to make numerous phone calls and texts to address issues that should have been managed by your team. My husband and I repeatedly had to go behind the bar and kitchen to locate servers and items, causing unnecessary stress and disrupting the flow of the evening. You even approached me several times to ask if you could leave, despite knowing the event was not going well. Overall Experience: In summary, the level of service provided during our wedding was unacceptable. It tarnished what should have been a beautiful day and caused unnecessary stress and disappointment for us and our guests. The numerous failures in meeting the agreed-upon expectations have led me to demand a 30% refund of the total amount paid, which is $5,310. I expect a prompt response and resolution to this matter. I strongly urge you to address these issues to prevent similar experiences for future clients. This was supposed to be one of the most memorable days of our lives, and the service provided by Roswell Historic Hall was a complete failure. Message me if you'd like to discuss my experience.

They never told us about the wedding they ended up booking; we found out about the wedding and they refused to talk to us much less refund us what they said they would. My parents took them to small claims court and won the case, and they still won't pay. If they had just told us that we could not have our deposit back, we would have made it work. But they chose to get an extra pay day instead. I would not want to have such uncaring, dishonest people in charge of such a special day in my life. And you can see from other reviews that this is a part of how they make a living. I hope I saved someone some stress and disappointment by finally posting our experience.

I will share advice that I wish I had received before making a 50% deposit. My rating is based on the planning. The day of would get 4 stars. - We were glad we had an outside wedding planner to be our ally. If you've never planned an event like this, you might not realize that you can easily be taken advantage of. - They provide a lot of staff on the day of the event, but some of them were people we had never met. We had an eight-minute call with our "Day of Reception Director" the week before the wedding. She is a part-time (weekends) employee who doesn't even have a company email address. - We were dazzled by Melissa's sales pitch. She spent 2 hours with us when we came in for a tour and it was great. We thought she would be a great ally in this process. She was super friendly and helpful through the contract process until we paid 50%. - We needed to read every version of the updated invoice to catch price changes. The price of our dessert was $9 until one day it was $9.50. They charged us $150 for early arrival with a $150 credit to cancel it out. One day that credit had changed from $150 to $2. Laura from the design studio "accidentally" increased the price of some tablecloths by $5 each. - Their contracts sometimes expire after two days, and they said we needed to sign before getting answers to our questions. This happened with 2 contract addendums. We asked questions. Melissa said "Any specific detail changes to this contract will be handled in the extended planning sessions." - They marginalized me while behaving towards my husband. We had a recurrent problem where I would send an email, no response, husband reminds them, and they respond quickly. One time they ignored my email for five days. When he replied to my note, they responded to him within the hour. I don't know if it's because he's a man, he makes more money than I do, or they simply didn't like me. - If we didn't get it in writing, they often denied it. There are numerous topics that I am certain we discussed verbally but unfortunately I didn't have it in writing. With the issue mentioned above, they insisted we never discussed it, and they only agreed to do it because we found written confirmation. - We needed to spend at least $2,000 at their design studio, but we didn't have any trouble exceeding the minimum. We had very minimal design requirements, brought in an outside florist for the bouquets, and our initial quote was over $1,900, not counting the $700 tablecloth rental. - Menu changes come with an upcharge. You only get to put out one salad dressing. If you want your guests to have a choice, there is an $0.50 per person. Mashed potatoes come with no toppings. Want to add something as simple as sour cream or chives? One dollar per person for each topping. - We paid more than 80% of the adult rate for children aged 4-9. Children starting at age 10 are charged full price. The menu says "reduced rate" for children, but the aren't mentioned until much later in the process. They get a 20% discount on the base price for the buffet, but they are full price for drinks, dessert, and add-ons. I don't know if they would also be charged 100% for drink packages with alcohol. - We had to convince them to let us have a menu tasting. They offered us a "tasting box" with six items from another event's menu but only one or two from our menu. None of these options had our main dishes included. They said the point of a tasting box is to understand the quality of the food, not our specific menu. I want to thank Kristin, the CEO, for her help. Two months before our wedding, she allowed us to switch from the Atrium to Flint Hill (for a cost of $3,500) The change in venue couldn't fix corporate policies and staff difficulties though. I can honestly say that planning this wedding was one of the worst experiences of my life. Good luck, future brides and grooms.

You first drive down a short dirt/grass road before entering the parking lot (grass). From the hill you can see the venue and the small barn behind it. The venue itself is very easy on the eyes and can supposedly fit up to 200 guests (if you include the walk way on each side). The tasting event itself was fantastic. There were plenty of other couples and families there at the same time but because the venue can fit up to 200 people you have plenty of room. I won't mention what he tasted here since it may be private to the catering company but their food was great. Some foods outshone others but overall I would be happy to consider them as my main caterer for my future wedding. The decor inside the venue was probably the best part of the experience for me. It had a real southern look to it while still keeping it classy. The venue is real tidy and you can tell they keep it very well maintained. I myself would consider having a reception or rehearsal dinner here in the fall but in the summer it would probably get real hot (ATL outdoor wedding in the summer? oh boy...) since there isn't any AC. First, it's a very beautiful location with lots of historic charm. The original building was built in the 1840s with additions and renovations throughout the years. Sunny, the owner, originally gave my daughter and her fiancee a tour of the facilities. She showed them photo albums to give them an idea of the type of wedding they could expect at Naylor Hall. She answered all of their questions. She was professional and friendly. Abbey, the wedding coordinator, was wonderful. She kept everybody relaxed and organized during the rehearsal and on the day of the wedding. She ensured that we knew exactly what to do and when to do it. She kept everybody on time, and she ensured that we had a successful, enjoyable event. The rest of the staff was also great. Hal, the DJ, played all of the songs selected by my daughter, and he was a good MC for the post reception activities, such as the cutting of the cake, first dance, father-daughter dance, and throwing of the bouquet. Eric, the photographer, was professional, organized and courteous. He gave clear instructions to the wedding party and ensured that he captured lots of wonderful photos. During the reception, he was present at all the right moments to capture memories shared by my daughter and now son-in-law with their friends and family. Raul, the bartender, was friendly and provided excellent service. He kept our guest's glasses filled and anticipated our needs throughout the evening. The rest of the staff, including many servers, made the event a big success. One thing to keep in mind is that my daughter's wedding took place during COVID. The staff at Naylor Hall took many precautions to ensure that guests were safe. They provided commemorative face masks and multiple hand sanitizing stations for our friends and family. Based upon the attention to detail placed into the planning and implementing of the event, we would highly recommend Naylor Hall if you are looking for a venue to hold a special occasion, such as a wedding.
