I chose the Gyu Don which they actually didn't have and what kinda caused me to give 4 stars only. We then actually ordered the sake don and the chicken terriyaki don. Both looked and tasted absolutely fantastic! To complete the experience we chose the "3 out of 8 sake sampler" for 12€ that allows you to trial 3 of the 8 sake they offer in their restaurant. Totally enjoyed. Gyu don was just the way I wanted it, rice was well-covered in sauce, but not soggy nor swimming as some other Japanese restaurents I experienced. The only issue we had was the portion of Sake don, it would have been perfect if the portion had been as generous as Gyu don. However, the service was pleasant. We would definitely go back.

It was too aggressive for a waiter's body language. There was so much cringe in the air that I had to laugh, finally he realized my presence and gave me this shocked look as if i came from nowhere. And you know what, all these narrations don't actually come from me, but from my white friend, with whom this waiter was, compared to what I experienced, perfectly polite and friendly. To be fair, other waiters were really kind and attentive. The way they talked to me and my friend was equally nice as professionals. So we can be almost sure that it was not me being a bitch. Portion size is a little small. Noodles were perfectly al dente and a good diameter. Low alkalinity in the flour mix so they tasted a bit like pasta to me. Broth was salted correctly but was missing the savory notes that make the salt tolerable. Seemed to be chicken based. Very little fat in the bowl. Pork tasted like sliced tenderloin. Not bad but definitely not what I want in a bowl of ramen. Too chewy and under seasoned. The egg was in between hardboil and soft boil. Some of it had solidified and it did not appear to be marinated. Bean sprouts, sprouts, spring onion, and boc choy were all prepared well. There were elements here that have potential but I wouldn't come back again unless I hear it has changed a lot.

You could argue that I took pictures but I only needed about 5 minutes for that and all the Takoyakis I had in Japan still burned my mouth even after that time. RATING If my Takoyakis were hot and "fresh" it would have taken me back to Japan instantly.
