So I decided to try the Belmont location. They were very friendly. Helped me right away even though it was very busy in the morning. They took the other paint just in case and called me later in the day when the paint was matched. When I picked it up they not only mixed the color match perfectly but they gave me the nee quart for free. I was going to pay for it but the manager wanted to make it right even if it wasn't his store. I appreciate when a store goes out of their way to make it right. The paint was perfect and I've already used it to touch up the cabinets. Would definitely go back to this location in the future.

I was afraid that I would never find matching paint again for Kelly Moore paint again now that Kelly Moore is out of business. But after working with this store's manager Jesse, I got the perfect matching paint, I recently did some touch up and could not tell any difference between the old and the new paint. So thank you Jesse!! Previously a woman employee at the Belmont Store used a machine to scan the leftover paint in an old paint can. When she finished, the new paint and the old paint side by side on a small strip of paper still look different, but she didn't suggest how she could make them more look alike. After trying some touch up at home, I was very disappointed with the result because it was clearly not matched. So I decided to call the Redwood City store to inquire about getting better result, the store manager Jesse suggested that he could use eyeballing color differences to make further adjustment. Thanks to this store I was able to fix something that has been annoying my wife for many months…read more One cabinet door below the sink that my wife uses was always open a few inches because one of the hinges got weaker over time. Every time I would walk by, it would give me a vertically-oriented mocking smile. I finally had enough. You would think it would be an easy thing to simply pick out a replacement hinge and install it, but HAH--clearly you have not done much cabinet work before... I brought I picture of my hinge to this store and the exact hinge is no longer made. And I need to take into consideration the hinge overlay (what?!) along with the size of the body of the hinge. Well the bottom line is that after 4 trips to this store trying different hinges I finally installed one that worked. And the guys at this store were extremely helpful and patient--particularly for a part that is only about $7. They definitely helped me do this a lot quicker than I had tried it one my own, and proved the value of buying local.

Harry Singh only seems to respond to emails about once every two weeks, making it almost impossible to move the order process forward. Calling isn't any better--you end up on hold for a very long time, and when someone finally answers, they often ask if they can call you back. Unfortunately, those callbacks never happen. I've also left multiple voicemails without ever receiving the help I needed. I'm sure the in-store staff is wonderful, but since special orders have to be handled over the phone, the lack of communication and follow-through has made the experience incredibly frustrating. I hope they improve their customer service because it has been the biggest obstacle to doing business with them. We ended up ordering an item from a different vendor because we couldn't get anywhere with the online support staff.
