We went to the (empty) store asking about wallpaper and the salesperson couldn't have been less helpful. He threw a few books at us, muttered something and scurried away. We ended up finding what we wanted and made a purchase. We were then told it was backordered - which is fine. After waiting 4+ weeks, we would call asking for updates. When we did, we were told someone would get back to us and they didn't. The salesperson, was equally as before the sale as he was afterwards didn't exactly help the situation either. After a week past the initial 4 week estimate, we requested a refund and went to Wallpaper Warehouse in Farmingdale, where our experience has been the complete opposite.

A salesman brought them to the store the next morning. There's no shipping involved. This is robbery. I am in business too and restocking fees are 15-20% at most. Someone is making a few bucks here. Would not work it out with me. I'm sure they are keeping these 3 boxes of tiles to re-sell. Then the saleswoman says to me, "What about the time I spent showing you tiles and arranging the order". I told him the 5 or so items we needed, and he quickly pointed out each item, saving us at least a half hour time looking. Super great service, fully stocked and had all the items we needed. And also saved 5 dollars using the phone app! Yippee! Highly recommend as an alternative to those other big box stores that are further away and where you're unlikely to get personalized assistance.

I bought two frozen pizzas, and when I was about to eat one of the pizzas I discovered the cheese was sour. So I went back to return the uneaten pizza on 2/1/25 around 8:20pm. I presented my receipt, and the pizza at the register, and told her that I was not satisfied with the merchandise, and would like to return it. This employee started to give a nasty attitude, rolling her eyes, and talking rudely about me to the other employee. She then asked the manager busy working at the next register if she should refund me, and was told to process my return as its within store policy. (The manager is very sweet, and professional by the way) As this employee is handing me my money she laughs at me, looks at her co-worker and said "Oh you know how I am. If it was up to me, I wouldn't have given you the return." I asked why not? She said "Because you already paid for it, and brought it home, if you don't like it too bad, but that's just my opinion." I asked why are you being nasty to a customer? She responds "I don't believe that nonsense that the customer is always right, but like I said that's just my opinion". I never even said the customer is always right, and I was not rude to her at all. The entire interaction was soo bizarre. Why is this woman in a customer service position, when she has a chip on her shoulder, and makes a point to make customers feel uncomfortble with her rude attitude? I've never felt soo humiliated, and unwelcomed here before, and this was not the first time she's been rude. Also last week she got nasty with me when I asked for a bag for my items upon check out. I wont be making any more purchases here if she is working the register. Maybe the stock room is a better position for her, far away from any customers.

Stelios, the manager is a Greek god (sorry gals, spoken-for). Each guy behind the counter is experienced and happy to help. Recently, Nick, helped me carefully match two tough paint colors and as a retired video producer who mixed 6 million colors in my time, Nick has a future Hollywood film tweaking. Go Nick!

So I decided to try my luck and get a new phone and what a world a difference it was. All of the associates who helped me were very patient and actually listened to what I had to say.
