I am completely thrilled with the Regal Select paint in Edgecomb Gray. The color is beautiful but the quality of the paint is apparant. I had done a similar (Lowe's) color in an adjacent bedroom where I applied a primer and 2 coats of paint. With this paint the job was done in one coat. And the texture was clearly better. I took the week off to get some things done around the house, one of those was painting the hallway. I had a full can of my favorite color (Sea Salt if you were wondering) from 2021, so I took it to the store to get it shaken. Being a native, I saw someone from my childhood, and we chatted for a bit, said goodbye and exited, but I forgot something and went back in. Well, this person followed me back in the store and started again to reminisce, to the point where he was searching for more to say; it got kinda weird, but Manny was catching my non-verbal cues. I finally made my way to the register and the guy walked to the door, but he stood there playing with his phone. Manny was taking a bit to start my purchase, well he was changing search criteria to name. SW normally ask for your phone number, but Manny suspected the guy's hesitation was to hear my phone number. When the guy finally left I said, "I was praying, please don't ask for my number." Manny said he was thinking the same and that's why he asked for my name. The guy may have just been happy to see someone from the old neighborhood, we'll never know, but "Thank you, Manny, for your vigilance and protecting me." I have been to this particular Ollie's 2-3 times now, and each time it seems to get worse and worse rather then better. Disappointing. :( Upon entry at this particular location at around 6:30 pm on a weekday, I found absolutely no front staff to assist me. I searched all register areas, hoping to find anyone possible in the restocking area towards the front as well....still no person to be found. I finally noticed one of the staff members come in from the outside to ask my question to of where a particular item was that I have always found prior at this store. However, she didn't seem to know what I was referencing, and finally I just had to give up on receiving any sort of "help" from staff all together. Doubly Disappointing to say the least. Overall, this store is the most unorganized poorly run Ollie's I have ever shopped at. I waited to write this review until I witnessed the same sort of disorganization every time I came to shop. Though I will say the young adult (male) who rang up my items had a good attitude and was able to check me out at the register pretty quickly. Where he was when I first came into the store I will never know. They must be seriously understaffed or possibly people are taking breaks all at the same time?! Lol. Whatever the case, I strongly believe corporate needs to step in and take the extra time and effort to do some much needed retraining and assistance to staff to they more fully know how to stay at their designated places at the front and the stocking staff needs to get on it so they can have the organization this store absolutely needs so we customers can more fully enjoy our shopping experience and see all the wonderful items Ollie's has to offer.
