Just wanted to update my review. Everhart store "lost" three out of four of my formulas. They were in the system less than two years. Might think for the hundreds of dollars spent, they'd have a bit more concern for my business. read more

This store caters to professional painters. I spent an hour there trying to get 4 samples of paint. There were only 2 employees working at opening when a lot of professionals are buying 5 gallon cans of paint. 1 employee was working the counter and mixing paint and the other one was unboxing paint supplies on the floor. The employee at the counter would not make my samples and I ended up getting the inexperienced employee to make the samples. He couldn't find the paint color I wanted in the book, then didn't know how to work the machine. The more experienced employee finally showed him and while I was waiting another homeowner customer began to wait behind me for help. I suggested she get the counter guy to help because it might be a while for the guy mixing my samples. I guess this didn't go over well with the employee at the counter because he glared at me and said, "He's just new." He did answer her questions and seemed very helpful to her, but if I hadn't suggested she ask him, I doubt he would have offered to help. I'm under the impression that employee prefers to help the professional painters since they know what they want, they're easier. If the store wants to operate like that, then please try to staff an experienced employee to help with the other customers. I'm happy I had a gift card to pay for my samples today. I am repainting a 3500 square foot home with Sherwin Williams Duration paint. I plan to buy my paint from a Sherwin Williams store that appreciates business from the occasional painter as well as professionals. read more

I have a corporate account with Sherwin Williams, but I mostly shop for personal items. When I was in Corpus Christi and needed some specific paint, I looked up my closest SW store and saw the low Yelp reviews. However, I knew what I wanted and figured I'd go in and give it a shot. The store was clean and well laid out for keeping people safer during the pandemic -- stickers all over the ground making sure to mark the required six feet spacing, sneeze guards by the two cash registers, and all employees were wearing masks. Since I knew the color I wanted, I wasn't browsing the color swatch wall, but theirs was large and well-lit. The employee I dealt with helped me right away and recommended the correct brush for the job I was doing. I ended up buying more instead of making a separate trip to the hardware store, just because it was so pleasant to deal with them. I will not hesitate to go back. The nice thing about these stores too is that they save your paint choices and they don't seem to spam my phone. read more

Bought a stucco home with no spare paint, took a sample off the house and took to Home Depot and Lowe's... they weren't able to match after multiple try's. Went to Sherwin-Williams and got a perfect match on the first try. They also went through all the paint types and I got what I needed plus 40% off..... My husband and I bought our first home. We came in to pick out paint. We waited around for 25 minutes before we were even acknowledged. The phone continued to ring and ring. No employee was answering. The store was a mess. Several paint cards were empty, trash on the floor, disorganized staff. When a man finally talked to us, he seemed too hot and bothered to have to do his job. All we wanted was a price estimate for the paint and how soon it could be made available. After dealing with his poor attitude, and the obvious lack of care in this store we went to Home Depot. They matched every color and had the paint ready in an hour. They left us leave and get dinner and called when it was ready. We won't be going back to Sherwin Williams. And that's a loss of business for them. We were going to use them for paint, floor stains, and all supplies. Not now. read more

We walked in and looked around for 15 minutes while waiting for the one sales person to finish helping another customer with wallpaper books, then we turn around and the guy was gone. I walked to the back room door frame and saw a different man sitting writing something, so I politely said "excuse me, can we get some help?" He looked up and said "Uh, he should be back in a minute" then went right back to what he was doing. I was aggravated, but we continued to stand around waiting because we had already picked a paint color we wanted. 10 minutes later, he still hadn't come back, so I peeked around the corner and the second guy was gone too. I recently purchased wallpaper from this store, and It was one of the worst experiences I have ever had. Staff could not provide basic information on the availability of the wallpaper we selected, or the quantity needed for the job. I ended up calculating it myself on the internet and determined I needed 3 double rolls. I was told I could only order 2 double rolls at a time. So, I ordered 4 rolls and was told I could return one if it was unused. I used exactly 3 rolls, and when I went to return the fourth roll, was then told I had to pay a 50% restocking fee. I declined to pay it because I was not told upfront and because they had offered zero assistance in determining quantity. Matt was extremely rude to me when I made the return. I cannot believe how unprofessional he was. I am also writing their corporate office. Worst customer service ever. read more
