I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Onibokun and the entire team at San Jose Neurospine…read more A year ago, I came to Dr. Onibokun suffering from a severe herniated disc in my cervical spine. The chronic neck pain had become absolutely excruciating and was significantly affecting my quality of life. Dr. Onibokun performed a C6-C7 anterior cervical discectomy and total disc arthroplasty using the Mobi-C device, and I can genuinely say the procedure changed my life. One year later, the debilitating neck pain I lived with is completely gone. To wake up and go through my days without that constant pain is something I will never take for granted. From the very beginning, Dr. Onibokun made me feel that I was in incredibly capable hands. He took the time to explain everything clearly, answered my questions, and gave me confidence going into what was understandably a very scary experience. His expertise as a surgeon is exceptional, but what stood out just as much was the care and compassion he showed me as his patient. I am deeply grateful to Dr. Onibokun for giving me my quality of life back. There are certain people you encounter in life who make an impact you will never forget, and he is absolutely one of those people for me. I also want to recognize his wonderful staff at San Jose Neurospine. Everyone I interacted with throughout the process was kind, responsive, patient, and supportive. From preparing for surgery through recovery and follow-up care, they made an overwhelming experience feel so much easier and made sure I felt cared for every step of the way. If you are dealing with serious neck or spine issues and are looking for a surgeon you can trust, I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Onibokun. I will forever be grateful for his skill, his care, and the incredible outcome of my surgery. Thank you, Dr. Onibokun and the entire San Jose Neurospine team, for everything you did for me. You truly changed my life. - Marina Angelica

No sutures, no dressing placed on this open wound communicating to her brain. She was transferred later that evening out of ICU, and within 24 hours had developed meningitis and returned to ICU. I insisted I didn't want Rosario anywhere near her, and the neurologist in charge of Regional's ICU agreed to oversee her care. She then mentioned she needed to confirm something with my doctor before scheduling the appointment and promised to call me back immediately. I waited the rest of the day, but no call came. The next day, when I called again, I reached the same voicemail. Based on their almost five-star reviews, I had a positive impression of this office. Despite my QME stating my injury was indeed work related, they still denied all my treatment including a recommendation by the work comp neurosurgeon for surgery. Work comp also denied my appeal. As of date, work comp still has not approved my surgery. I've been in so much pain for the past 16 months and my quality of life greatly diminished. I developed atrophy on my left side of my body and left arm. I read reviews of Dr B. There were nothing but glowing reviews. I met with him in n Sept 2025 and he went over my MRIs and symptoms. He was GREAT! Dr B explained the "why's" of my ailments and provided me with options to remedy my injury. After a very thorough informative consult, I decided to skip work comp and go through my personal doctor. I chose to have a spinal decompression and 3 level anterior cervical fusion. A few days later, Dr Bs office called and scheduled my surgery. They were very responsive and provided detailed pre and post-surgery recommendations. The day of the surgery, I went to Good Sam. I remember being rolled into the surgery room and waking up in recovery. Immediately, I had sensation in my left hand again. It's been 3 weeks post surgery and I'm feeling great. Dr Bs staff have been very helpful and informative. His PA AManda Diep has been amazing as well. I'm so glad I didn't wait for workers comp and went w Dr B. I'm hoping for a full recovery.
