We found Bunny's through word of mouth and have been coming here for a few months. My daughter is…read morethree and loves to come to the preschool class. It's an hour long class of ballet and tap taught by Miss Bunny. Miss Bunny herself is very good and patient with the girls and really gets them involved in dance by doing age-appropriate activities. We pay $45 for four weeks of lessons which is pretty reasonable. She also doesn't have a requirement as far as what the dancers have to wear so they can be as creative as they want, even wearing Disney princess dresses! The only reason I gave four stars is because the studio is small and can use some updating but it doesn't get in the way of the dancing and fun. :-)

We've been with Ms Felicia since my daughter was 6 and she's a high school senior now. Learning from the great instructors at Inspire has helped her to develop her poise, grace, and stage presence. Pre-pandemic, my husband and I enjoyed participating in various capacities (performing, ushering, supervising the dancers) in the many performances the studio puts on each year, and we've always been impressed with how professional the staff and volunteers are, and the care and respect they show for the dancers. The office is professionally-run, the studio clean & well-equipped, and there are a variety of classes for all students. We've been very impressed with how hard Ms Felicia and the staff have worked to keep the dancers and families safe as they've followed all the county's requirements for remaining open. They do a great job of communicating with the families via email, the BAND app, and social media, and they have fun extracurricular activities too! It's always fun to spot our daughter or even us on the social media accounts! We're happy to support this small local business and will be sad to lose the community as our daughter launches into adulthood.

We started with virtual in the beginning of the pandemic, but now we have switched to in class. I hope my daughters continue to attend at Inspire until they are young adults. It's worth every penny!

The instructors were lovely, and the front office staff were responsive to questions. I'll also say that my child really seemed to enjoy the classes, which is huge for him. I would've liked more communication about what they were doing in there every day. I will say that nearly every time we arrived and departed for class, we had a run in with a homeless person/people, and I didn't love the feeling of having to be hypervigilant. This is not new for Balboa Park (or new for me), but for whatever reason, there are folks strung out on drugs all around the exterior of the building and they are extra aggressive (pants down, screaming curse words, etc.) For that reason, I can't bring my kid back. Unfortunate as I imagine there isn't much the program can do about this.

We've already seen "The Jungle Book Kids" and "101 Dalmations" at J*Company Youth Theatre at the Lawrence Family Jewish Community Center in UTC. I was surprised at how professional these performances were! The kid-actors range in age from about 7 years old to 18 years old. They are surpisingly very talented in acting and singing! The stage decor and costumes were delightful as well. We got a group of 20+ to go together as "Family Day at the Theatre." All mommy's and daddy's enjoyed the performance but most importantly ALL OUR CHILDREN WERE ATTENTIVE AND EXCITED! Our children, ages infant to toddler, really enjoyed the performances ... imagine that! We plan on continuing to attend the plays in the 2008-2009 Season (and beyond) and maybe later...enroll our daughter in classes (beginning at age 4). The J*Company 2007-2008 15th Season included: High School Musical; The Jungle Book Kids; AIDA; and 101 Dalmations. Next season, 2008-2009 includes: Pocahontas; Into The Woods; and Fireflies. Plan ahead! I have one more hint ... each ticket is $16.50 (for anyone older that 2). However, if you get together ALL your friends and buy 20 tickets at one time ... the tix are ONLY $10.50 a piece! But if you are looking for a way to bring your child into the arts, pull them out of their shell, and introduce them to a fantastic group of kids from all over the county, J*Company is the place to do it. The director, Joey Landwehr is a wonderful person and teacher. I guarantee your kid will absolutely love the experience here. And then we get to the productions themselves. Every production is so well-done. The last play, The Pirates of Penzance was absolutely charming. Kids and adults were laughing and cheering throughout the show. Many of the performances sold out.
