I felt nervous about my hair even before I went in because her texts got increasingly dry and short the closer it got to my scheduled appointment. I wanted to cut my hair short by a few inches after having long hair for a while. I had to tell her that I want to see how my hair looks by cutting an inch at a time. I stopped asking her to cut it shorter because it was not looking any better. After she cut and blow dried it, my hair looked uneven and choppy. Usually hair stylists give you a mirror to see your hair from behind but not this time. I didn't know how it looked from the back until after the appointment. After she blow dried my hair, my ends were heavily swayed to the left. I grew more suspicious that she didn't care about my hair. I asked her to curl it hoping it would fix the uneven cut but my hair looked even shorter after curling. I thought it looked okay at the salon but after washing my hair and seeing it in its natural state from behind, it's actually more uneven and choppy than I thought. I felt horrible and still regret trusting her with my hair. As for color, I asked for a brown dimensional balayage and showed her pictures before the appointment and day of the appointment. She disregarded any of the pictures I showed her and left streaky random highlights from the 2000s around the base of my head that's not blended in with my hair. I had a bad feeling going in, and it only got worse. I feel embarrassed about my hair and my confidence plummeted. I want my long hair back.

Unfortunately I was physically assaulted pretty bad by a Man all while my man was in the restroom and before my man was able to save me and take care of business I was tossed around by my long hair so bad the knot was unmanageable for me or my man to try and brush it out. We tried for hours and nothing was working. My man found Tracy online and she was so freaking nice and told him to bring me in. When I arrived I was completely beat up and hysterical and embarrassed how I looked, I was beat up and hurting but Tracy was so comforting and sweet to me and caring I just felt deep in my heart I knew I was ok with her. As anyone can imagine I was on edge and scared and completely depressed. I had very long and thick curly hair. I've always had to get lots of layers for my hair and thin it out due to the length and thickness of it but I loved my hair so much. I thought for sure I would need to chop my hair off due to how bad it was. Tracy and Zoe started working on my hair reassuring me I was ok and they got me. When I arrived at this salon it was 6pm! When I left this salon it was 5am and the sun was coming up. Tracy called on Charity to assist her and charity brought in her husband with her and they went to town on my hair while being extremely gentle at the same time they hardly even took a break. For 12 hours these wonderful people stayed standing on their feet ripping apart these knots in my hair and never once did they say passive aggressive comments about being tired or anything they stated overnight literally with a smile on their faces and nothing but a positive attitude. Actually Saying positive attitude is watering it down they were uplifting and happy and nice and supportive and throughout all my moments of crying spells and fear of everything they were so loving and kind and went above and beyond to help me, a person they literally don't know at all! I'm a complete stranger to them and charity came in on her day off and stayed over night to do this for me even though she has a baby at home I'm sure she would have rather wanted to be with her baby she was able to have her mom watch her baby while her and her husband came to help me in the worst moment of my life. It's more than hair for me it was all that happened to me and all the lives that were touched and affected to come together to help me. Charity's husband did an amazing job by not only keeping my spirits up with his funny jokes but this man was walking around helping Tracy and Charity with whatever they needed and was giving them water from a cup with a straw while working on my hair without taking breaks and on top of all that having him there calmed my anxious nerves with only us women in a salon all night long it's kinda scary. I don't know a single person in my life now that I can call on to come over and help me with my hair and yet these people I don't know at all did and I'm eternally thankful I met them and I'll never forget this. My career as a paramedic I'm use to saving lives and working 911 systems and never needing anything from anyone cause I feel like I got this all the time but these people saved my life that day. They let me walk out of that salon with my hair still long and they worked magic. They let me see the light in a very dark day for me. Unfortunately from the trauma i lost a lot of hair maybe more than half and even though it can't look exactly what it did before they got it pretty damn close, I know my hair will grow back and I got to meet these amazing people. My loyalty is strong and real and I can say no matter what I will be back and I'll never forget them. Never! Thank you so much you guys. I wish I had all the money in the world and a magic wand to grant you all your wishes and dreams but I don't and all I can say is if I can ever do anything for you I'll be there! I brought a photo to Sherri, of the style I wanted to get, angled bob. She cut my hair, and used a lot of thinning shears, instead of the precision cut layering. I did not like it. She attempted to fix it, but could not. She does not know how to cut thin hair! But she has a nice personality, and I think with more training she can do better. I would not go back to her. I think she should also ask a client if they are OK with photos being taken. She took a number of photos of my haircut, under protest. I asked to see my haircut in the mirror with a smaller mirror reflection, she would not honor it. I think taking photos of people without their permission is a violation of their human rights.
