We are big antique shoppers and all price ranges from bargain to very high end. When we arrived at this "gallery" they were shocked we had not shopped online first so we knew what we wanted to see. They were rude as could be and the prices were crazy high for what they had. I'm pretty sure they want you to shop online because they don't actually want to interact with people...so do yourself a favor and if you are in Manchester and looking at the antique store map...skip 19...you can find far better stuff in a much more pleasant environment anywhere else...not sure why they don't just have a www store !

Owner seemed friendly, but was too busy talking to his friends in the shop. Seemed like they were hanging out in chairs having a good time. Not what I'd expect for a flourishing shop. Was hard to walk around as it was so full, like walking thru a garage of antiques. Looking at the other Yelp reviews, I must have come at a time where they were reorganizing. They do now accept credit cards. I saw a sign saying they are under new management so maybe that is why. Easy parking and right off NY-7. Definitely would stop here again when passing through. Only minor criticism is that they could be friendlier and greet customers and offer to open locked cases when they see you peering and lingering at one. I had to ask to see things and one of their employees didn't seem very enthusiastic about working. Prices were reasonable but not remarkably high or low.

Part of the way home, we spotted the Twitchell House on the left side of route 30 as we were motoring South. The Twitchell House is seriously an entire house (and barn and tent and yard) full of antiques. We probably spent two hours poking through all the rooms, digging up all sorts of neat little trinkets. GF got a soldering iron shaped like a pistol and some funky tins. I got a mid-century cake tin for a baker friend, an old glass ink well, a set of 1920s fake pearls, a 1940s black fox muff that I am so excited to rock the hell out of this winter...I think that's all I got...but it definitely wasn't all I wanted to get. The owners are also pretty awesome, and super chatty. They love their collection and they've carefully labeled everything in the building. If you're ever in Southern Vermont looking for an adventure, this is definitely a worthwhile stop.

Prices were flexible and low, there wasn't a single item I looked at that I wasn't willing to pay full sticker price. We are trying to keep our place minimal and we have all of the furniture we need, but we did get these two amazing rugs. She did say that she usually doesn't do rugs, but that she got these on a gut feeling. They are in tough shape, and in need of a good cleaning, but they were a CRAZY good deal and exactly what I was searching for. If I were opening a restaurant or a boutique, or just looking to furnish my place, I would schlep up here as my first stop.

Set in a gorgeous pastoral landscape with barn buildings dating to 1840, we were warmly greeted by a classic pick up truck and Pinterest-ready string lights before meeting the incredibly friendly shopkeeper within. Boy, was the trip worth it. The shop is brimming with an array of exciting and reasonably priced curiosities, vintage pieces, ephemera, antiques, leather furniture, and upcycled denim. Parts of the store remind me very much of Ralph Lauren's more rustic aesthetics, and I was super impressed by the sophistication and style with which the store was curated. The grounds are also so beautiful that it could easily be an event space, or a great place for lemonade or hot cider should they ever decide to sell refreshments. Can't wait to return. Enjoy your visit and drive around gorgeous Washington County.

Simply put, I have given feedback to the corporate team about their product over the past year or…read moreso and have never received a reply. So, I can only extrapolate that they do not actually care about the customer's opinions. My specific feedback was just to let them know about a change in quality around the peanut butter and butter hardroll which tastes great with a cup of coffee. However, they started getting cheap and lately (about the last 6 months or so), I've noticed the peanut butter is a meager, partial skim of flavoring that can be so minimal that is seems practically non-existent. In the past, there was plenty of product to satisfy the palette. The store staff is great and I regret having to give one-star for such a small issue, but it is more about the lack of response from corporate when I've logged three different comments on their customer service platform. (Food -3 stars, Cleanliness + 4 stars, In-store staff, +5 stars, Corporate -100 stars).
