They're honest, straight forward and really care about the service they offer - they're sort of like a family! There's never been a problem in returning anything that wasn't quite "up to scratch" - (once with some fish, the other with avocadoes) and this is in nearly 20 years of shopping there. The sign outside their store entrance has multiple misinformation and incorrect statements. It's really frustrating for more misinformation to be spread around service animals, when there is already so much. 1. There is no service dog registration or certification 2. Service animals are legally not required to wear a vest or any identification equipment 3. In Connecticut, service dogs IN TRAINING have the SAME rights as FULLY trained service dogs; therefore they may enter the store 4. Service animals may be off-leash ONLY if the leash interferes with the dog's ability to perform a task for the individual with the disability I truly do love this store. This is really the only complaint to be honest, except maybe their prices! Although, I do have to compliment how cute the drawings are on the service animal sign lol.
