Dont be a few days late with your payment cuz they are right on the leins . several people have…read moretold me they sold there stuff without notice . for me yep i was late but planned to pay . when i was 1 week late i got a notice that tbey were putting lein on my camper . then the day before auction i got a call saying i had till noon the next day and that call went to my robo file good thing i was checking numbers or they would have got my camper . when i called with the payment they were charging me for the full month yet it was the 2nd. And when i asked why they are not prorating since they told me i had to remove it and called it salvage. Yes its old but my money is as good as the next . they dont like to be embarrassed having such an old camper at thier over rated place . they hung up on me when i asked why they are charging me for a month and kicking me out the same month the second day of the month . rude and nasty people. They…read moredidn't bring a lock, hired terrible packers, delivered the wrong shell, If you had a STIHL Chainsaw oil in your unit and a big screen TV your stuff went to Pacific Grove California. After this, they didn't know where my pod was, and it took them a couple of weeks to find it. I didn't get 50 or 20 dollars a day from them, only 200$ for the missed delivery after paying them 5,000$. They then unpacked my shell without my permission and put it in a smaller truck highlighting the packers incompetence. Everything was dirty, smelled bad, and was incredibly beat up. Here is the issue, I am basically without recourse despite a huge financial hit. Zippy Shell doesn't stand behind any of their promises. If you read the fine print, they take no responsibility for delays so no matter what they tell you they don't have to be on time and likely won't be. My things were delivered almost a month late. Their agreement has promises of security in big print, but once you put your stuff in the chickenwire cage they can do just about anything to it that they want and take no responsibility for any item in your shell. So basically someone will incompetently throw your stuff in a truck with a chicken wire shell and that is about where their commitment to you stops. After all this they charged me overtime today for the movers, I believe to upack my shell and put it into the smaller truck which I in no way authorized. Can i please rate in the negatives?…read more this company on a national level sucks! we signed a contract with them to move us cross country. 1) They told us the wrong size container. so we had to leave almost half of our furniture behind... around $1200 worth. 2) They said they would deliver it to our new home and unload it.... It was delivered to a warehouse 2 hours away from us in another city. The warehouse said they couldn't service our area. 3) They said they wouldn't charge us a storage fee. since it was being delivered to our home.....They in fact charged us a months storage fee. and wont refund it. 4) They said they would get someone to deliver it from the warehouse in another city. but we found out that they were just asking drivers who happened to stop at that specific warehouse if they would deliver it. They had not "Searched" Their company for drivers. just mentioned as an after thought. 5) They are refusing to give us a satisfactory refund. Our bill was almost $6000. They are offering a measly $200 refund. Which was the cost of the storage fee they said we wouldn't have to pay. TL;DR:: Zippy Shell Company are a bunch of con-artists. I am seeking legal action against them.
