The shop in Denver was trying to scam me into replacing a motherboard in it due to an error code and told me that my battery was also testing low. Together the repairs would have been around $1300. Manny and the Service Dept of Valley Motors took a look at the generator for me while I waited and discovered that the shop in Denver put it back together wrong. Once they got it back together correctly the error code went away. Then they retested the battery and discovered it was fine too. What seriously needed to be adjusted, and all the other shops missed, was the O2 sensor. Thanks so much for taking the extra time and effort to run down the problem and make fine tune adjustments my generator needed. Now its running great. Woohoo! Thanks to Service Dept for being honest, and good at your job. Much appreciation!

I brought my truck in to have an oil change and I requested to have an estimate on replacing the…read morebrake pads. I brought my own pair but I was fully prepared to pay for their own brake pads we put on. When they brought the estimate they told me that since they had looked at the vehicle and removed the calipers they could not release the vehicle to me because they thought it was too unsafe to drive . When I pressed them on the topic they said that they I had to replace the rotors as well as the brake pads and I could not just have the calipers put back on and gone on my way. I ended up having to pay over $500 for the repairs that I did not ask for. When I ask for a copy of the policy that they were making these decisions on the manager told me that they would not provide any copies of their policies and told me that I had two choices. Either they would have my car towed back to my property with all the parts taken off and that I could fix it myself or that I pay what they asked for. I wish I could give zero stars . I will never do business with them again.

I work here in the summer and down south in the winter so when my check engine light came on a month before needing to head south I was worried I would not make my deadline out of here. It was an issue that meant I shouldn't drive so I left my Ram at the dealership to hopefully be able to be fit in before the end of the month. All my research about this check engine code meant not good things and the tech even thought he'd have to tear completely into my transmission to diagnose the problem, but he kept poking around and found that it was a simple pressure valve that they had in stock! They were able to fix my pickup and get it back to me way before my deadline to head south! Also they have Rotella T6 in stock right now so I scheduled an appointment to get that changed tomorrow. I own a 2017 Chevy Silverado. I started having issues with the check engine light coming on…read moreconstantly. None of the systems in the diagnostic report were actually faulty. I took the truck to two Chevy dealerships multiple times over the course of two years. One dealership in town told me the cause was some dirty wires in a sensor. Not to worry they said because they cleaned them off and I was good to go. When I asked, "Isn't that what you said the issue was last week?" The week prior I was in that dealership for the check engine light issue. A different tech said the thin wires in that sensor was really dirty but they cleaned them. After the panicked look on his face and talking to the guy in the garage for about seven minutes, he came back and said that was what they did the week prior. Needless to say I haven't gone back to that dealership. When I took it to Sheridan Motors, they kept my truck for multiple days to research the issues. They identified some issues and tried fixing them. Finally they asked to keep my truck for "a while." Luckily I was in a position that I could swing that. They were finally able to track down the ghost in the electrical system. I realize all businesses have a set of people that love them and a set of people that hate them. I have had nothing but a positive experience with everyone at Sheridan Motors. Tim and Keri have been fantastic. They would call and update me when they discovered issues or solutions. They should had made it right without hesitation knowing they were wrong but sales guy and manager treated me like another number. They should check the car completely knowing the customer has to drive the car back home to another state.
