The Great Working with my lawyer Janel Cisneros has been fantastic. She is professional, punctual, keeps her word, and follows up on everything. But there were some issues with them being asked to make a call or get a form, and then they just don't do it. Roswill and Lisa were great, but with the others there were issues. 4/5 The bad Towards the end of my case, I had some legal questions that were not a specialty of my lawyer, so she recommended another lawyer her firm works with named David Don. A simple no would of been fine, but this guy just wanted to insult me, and was as rude as possible. This is a BIG red mark on The Husband and Wife Law Firm. Associating with someone who treats your clients like that is very insulting, and makes me question where this law firms morals are. Janel was a rockstar, the paralegals have a lot to work with, but need a bit of tweaking on following through (except Roswill and Lisa). I'm putting in 5/5 because yelp giving this place 3 point whatever is way too low, and they honestly deserve something in the 4-5 range. 5/5 range if they stop recommending David Don. We settled my case in December of 2024 after I had finished with my follow up care. I am a big fan of having a very hands on experience and being in the know of my case often. I found that they work behind the scenes and do not give many updates. That may not be a problem for most people but I wish I had had a little more contact about the process of my case. They were very kind and answered all of my questions when I did leave a message to speak to my lawyer. I did start with one lawyer, then was moved to a different one who left the firm and I closed out my case with a third person. I can confidently say they were all very nice and I didn't have an issue with any of them. I did not mind my case being moved between individuals as they were knowledgeable of my situation when the next person took over. They worked with me to make sure I received a fair settlement and even stayed late in the office so I could grab my check from them after my work day. I even referred my mom who was recently in a bad accident and needed legal representation. I appreciate all they did for me!
