Very well maintained, clean, well managed, they even pick trash up 3 times a day from your site! Sites are large, easy to back into. Park is patrolled overnight by the constables office. No drama, not noisy, just families having a relaxing time. Only downside was the fish weren't biting! We appreciated the fact that weekends are reserved for campers, which kept the traffic at the swimming area controlled (day passes can be obtained during the week for the general public) bathhouses and restroom are clean. We will be back!

The pools were not clear and the pools are honestly 1990 pools. The water splash pad was not on and the seating was faded. The street signs are peeling and need to be updated especially on the important roads that lead to the properties and amenities. Its like no one updates or up keeps the pools or any amenities. There was bee hives on the playgrounds old decking. Looks like the buyers who purchased in 2017 had better times there cause as of now theres nothing to do did I mention the roads are very bumpy.

There is a water front too and people were fishing and a whole lot of ducks were on their evening flying routine..... Its a small park, with considerable parking. Its adjacent to the Boat House, so that is another sport to engage in with family or friends. You can even bring your own paddle boats. A Happy Park overall.

Burroughs Park is one of those places that makes you appreciate having great local parks nearby…read more It's huge and has a little bit of everything -- fishing ponds, multiple playgrounds for kids of different ages, long walking trails, and plenty of open space to just enjoy being outside. The playground areas are especially great for families because there are several scattered throughout the park, so it never feels overly crowded. The fishing ponds are also a nice touch if you want to slow things down and relax for a bit. It's a great spot for a weekend walk, letting the kids burn off some energy, or just getting some fresh air. The park is generally well maintained and there's plenty of room to spread out. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that it can get pretty busy on nice days and parking near the playgrounds fills up fast. But overall, it's definitely one of the better parks in the area and worth the visit.

Dog park win! This park is nestled away in the forest…read moretowards the back of the park. Love that it's a huge open fenced in park for the fur babies to roam. Lots of giant trees where squirrels like to play hide and seek with the dogs. Only down side is there's just one water fountain towards the front and then a couple faucets where folks bring dog bowls to put out for the dogs. There's a couple of wash stations outside of the dog park which comes in handy.

During our stay, we experienced significant noise issues despite claims of a no-noise policy after…read more10 PM. It was difficult to sleep during our first two nights due to loud music and vehicles coming in and out at all hours. I understand that our location was close to the boat ramp, which contributed to some of the noise, but the music blasting at 2 AM was unacceptable, especially with a supposed "no loud noise after 10 PM" policy in place. Additionally, the guidelines stated that only golf carts were allowed, but this rule was clearly ignored. We heard dirt bikes, four-wheelers, and side-by-sides throughout the nights. I may sound like a complainer, but after four days here, I'm exhausted from the lack of sleep. Unfortunately, I won't be returning. On top of that, many parents weren't watching their children. We saw kids running through our paid camping spot when there were clear sidewalks for them to use. One child even started crying because our dog, who was leashed the entire time, growled at him. If the child had been on the sidewalk instead of running through other people's camping spots, he wouldn't have gotten scared. Now, let's talk about the boat ramp, which was the reason we chose our spots. We have always used Browsets boatRamp, but we encountered kids playing at the ramp while others, including us, were trying to load our boats as an incoming storm approached. It was chaotic. I bet the kid couldn't have been older than 10. Where was the management during all this? If it was the guy on the golf cart, they might want to consider finding someone else. He didn't say anything to the person who dumped an entire tent into the water or to the kids throwing trash into the lake. He did appreaently what he does best and sit in the golf cart!

The park hosts were out cleaning the empty lots.The grounds are all kept well and they have ample boat docks for boaters to enjoy. The park store ha anything you would need and reasonably priced with a nature center inside. We will be spending man days here this summer.

This was a camping trip with some friends of mine and my family. The spot was really nice and it came with a lake view of lake Livingston. They have trails around this park that lead to a cabin center in which you can rent. My friend had an RV and rented two spots which has running water and a fire pit! The views are dope. Weekends are pretty busy for people glamping and camping, so definitely book in advance ! This will most definitely be a go to spot!

The playground is one of a kind, my kids love it. There is a small pond with lily pads covering the top and beautiful coi fish. The pond has a railed walking path through it that has a few benches throughout. Catch and release fishing is allowed. There are several alligator warning signs however I've never seen any myself but I spoke to a couple people there that say they have in fact spotted the alligators near the water a time or two. This is a nice place to have a birthday party because there is a covered pavilion with picnic tables underneath and plenty of space for games and even to hang a piñata. There are bathrooms with water fountains and they are always clean and well-kept. Definitely recommend this park.
