Jesse was super helpful and made it very easy for me to understand. 2020- I moved once again and now to Texas. My taxes will once again be a bit hectic not only because of the move, but also because of Covid-19. I will not trust anyone else to do my taxes than Newton CPA.

He was clearly available as he answered the admin assistants question she asked on behalf of us. The client care piece was clearly missing. The admin assistant was lovely to deal with.

Perhaps this was an honest oversight on her part since she was rushing through the closing process. But if you are looking for a positive closing experience where everything is not rushed, I might suggest going elsewhere as I can only share my own personal experience. They then refused to use a telephone to correct the issue. This business seems to ONLY want to do business over email. Well, I tried that. The picture below shows how many attempts I made to get my meeting rescheduled. After the fifth attempt, I FINNALY got a response saying they are now closed tor the season! Haha! The same email explained they would be back in the office on August 18th and to reach back out at that time to continue where we left off. I had no choice since they had all my original tax documents and I could not retrieve them. I waited patiently for this time to arrive. They just returned back to the office at the said time and notified me that since I missed the onboarding call on April 22 that they refused to reschedule, they are not taking on any clients. If you are a high net-worth client like myself, I would avoid this company like the plague. They are unresponsive (as shown below), they lack systems to help when a client cant get into a meeting, they have no issue lying about revisiting your tasks after their promise to do so.

I had…read moreprepared and paid my taxes correctly each year, but the tax service I used for 4 years did not file them properly. Instead of penalizing my tax service, the IRS penalized me, even though I filed and paid my taxes every year. Originally, I considered hiring a Tax Resolution Service to represent me. But, after reading reviews for those companies, it appeared to me that many of their clients were simply trying to reduce their tax debt. In my case, I had done everything right, and I did not want to be labeled or looked at as someone who was just wanting to have their taxes reduced. I wanted the fines eliminated!!! At first, I tried to explain my situation on my own to the IRS. They denied my request the first time to eliminate my fines, as they said that even though I used a tax service to prepare my taxes, the results were still my responsibility. Finally, I hired this law firm to represent me in an appeal. I have no idea how you explained the situation better than I did, but I just received letters from the Internal Revenue Service stating that my account for those years was settled and paid in full. Thank you!!!! Thank you!!! Thank you!!!! I was facing around $15,000.00 in fines, and those fines were settled with the work you did representing me. I hope many people read my review and see what you could possibly do for them Sincerely: Danny Smith Statesville, NC
