I reached out to this group and spoke to a couple of staffers explaining my situation before they…read moreconnected me with an attorney John Woodman. We discussed my situation and their fees that are associated with the firm, I felt their fees were reasonable and agreed to their terms and then never herd back from them. I have made multiple calls, left multiple messages and nothing. I have no idea what the issue is/was but after three messages being left, I will move on. I am positive this is not the type of firm I want to put delicate legal matters with time sensitive needs in the hands of. I have never posted a review on yelp but noticed a previous post with a similar practice from this firm and felt it a duty and not a complaint.

Mr. Hayes is an amazing Lawyer. My husband was injured at work and we were not planning on…read moreretaining a lawyer. We jumped through all the hoops worker's comp had placed in front of us. The workers comp's insurance company had paid for everything. Until it came down to an injury that they decided wasn't part of the accident. Even though it was mentioned in the first providers notes, right after the accident. We put in an appeal about the injury and the company then obtained a lawyer to represent them. That is when we obtained Mr. Hayes. We are so glad we did. We didn't know how to navigate the process. He is professional and there for you. From the first time we spoke to him until we settled he has been on our side. His knowledge of workers comp is overwhelming. We are so thankful he knows the laws, we would have never known how to handle everything.5 stars is not enough for what he did for us.

Andrew was 45 minutes late to our first court appearance. I was sent multiple reminders from his…read morefirm to appear at the correct time, and I was getting more and more stressed when he did not show up. I called his office and they had no idea where he was and assured me that they would contact him and find out. Finally he showed up 45 minutes late. I did not get an apology or explanation for why he was late. Andrew was representing me in a tenant eviction where the tenant was living in my property without leaving for 6 months. This is the first time that I have ever gone through an eviction so I hired him. He was supposed to check the rent bonds each month so that we could remove the tenant any time they did not pay their bonds to the court. He failed to check the October rent bond because we were attempting to negotiate with the tenant. Instead he waited until November and then realized the tenant hadn't paid in October and we could have filed to remove her weeks earlier. This inaction lost me 1 month of income. He will probably reply here that he didn't check the bond because he was negotiating - but I fail to see why both tasks are mutually exclusive. I am literally paying for his time (retainer paid for his hourly rate so it's not like I asked him to do this for free), so why were the tasks I asked him to do not done? When I asked Andrew to acknowledge this mistake or provide me with a discount on his rate for the income that he lost me, he sent me the following reply, direct quote: "I have 100 other cases going on besides yours. The rent bond information is publicly available. So, it is also something that you could have checked just as easily." If he has 100 other cases and can't give my case the attention it needs, maybe he should take on less cases. And obviously if I was a legal expert and could have gone through this process on my own, I wouldn't have needed a lawyer in the first place.
