Phew! The intensity of being able to book an endless bracelet appointment is a thriller but I'm so happy I was finally able to get one. Booked for a Saturday morning and parking is atrocious, as I have never been to this area, but there is a parking garage 2/3 streets over that has like a free courtesy 30 minute parking a believe. I rushed over and the shop is beautiful. The appointment itself took less than 5 minutes it felt like. About a week after my appointment my bracelet was too much of an irritation under my Apple Watch so I left a message asking for an appointment to switch it to my other wrist. It took about 4-5 days for a response but we were able to set it up and she switched it free of charge; a literal 3 minute appointment. Love love love my forever jewelry piece! read more

In fact, the last exchange was downright rude. The person hung up on my colleague twice. In one exchange, the person said they were not interested without hearing about our inquiry. We were looking to host 20 to 30 clients at Shelter - allowing them to experience Shelter and walk away with permanent jewelry paid for buy us. I concur with other reviews that the staff doesn't care about the business or its potential customers. My counterparts, competition are always looking for unique and fun client events. I will not recommend Shelter. It was difficult to get a response. When we did, it was rude. No recommendation from me. read more

The staff at the store was very friendly and super helpful! I had read prior reviews and was leery of going but this store had what we wanted so we decided to chance it. Our family got the endless bracelets and the lovely girl who did them was very patient, made suggestions and could not have been more professional. The jewelry on display was GORGEOUS and we ended up buying a couple of pieces. At one point we had 3 different sales people trying to answer our questions and find pieces. Such a cute place, and the staff are very lovely, but I would avoid the endless bracelets. After waiting a while to secure an appointment, I finally got one welded on, and it looked beautiful. However, not even two weeks later, the chain stretched almost an inch, hanging very loosely on my wrist. The staff were kind, but I had to make an additional appointment (free of charge) to get it fixed. The welder said the chain was so stretched because of a hard tug or it getting caught on something, but in the not even two weeks of having the bracelet, I can't recall an event where either of those happened. She said my chain was now "weak" and "hopefully it would last this time". Needless to say, I am disappointed. I thought they would attach a new chain since they don't do refunds, but nope. I guess I will see how long it lasts, but I doubt more than a few weeks. read more

She was very responsive on email, and was transparent about the process, the cost (which was very reasonable, all things considered!) and the timeline. She made multiple digital renderings to make sure everything was perfect, and then 3D printed a mockup to make sure it fit and looked okay before making the final ring in gold and adding the stones. She sourced some absolutely beautiful stones (including an amazing lab-made alexandrite) and also worked in an heirloom family jewel that we provided. I can't say enough amazing things about Shelter. I found a beautiful necklace at their shop that I fell in love with. I purchased the necklace in April and unfortunately it was stolen while on vacation a few months later. I reached out to the shop to see if I could repurchase it because I had such an attachment. They kindly went out of their way to reach out to the artist to see if they could get me another one as they didn't have another in stock. They stayed in touch throughout the process and secured a new necklace for me. I am blown away by their kindness. The engagement ring was a custom piece using a stone from a family heirloom, and my wedding ring was a custom design, where Shelter sourced the stones. I went to Shelter because I wanted to reset my mom's engagement ring from almost 40 years ago. I met with Mallory and told her what I was looking for and the process was seamless. She took our conversation and from there was able to provide images and then a 3D print of what the ring would look like to ensure I was still happy with the design and setting.
