The freesias looked quite open and on the brink of being past their best. That said the roses and lilies were stunning. I guess that I'm spoilt by the low prices of supermarket flowers. This shop definitely had charm, so maybe paying a little bit more is well worth it.

Inside there are even more cut flowers but also a small card and gift section. It is the range of flowers I was so impressed with: fresh sunflowers and peonies along with things I didn't even recognise or know the name of. However, the flowers and stock doesn't seem cheap - £2.50 for one sunflower isn't exactly competitive when compared to city centre flower stalls. The staff were very friendly and helpful so perhaps for a special occasion it would be worth the extra money.

We had never been here before but it was convenient to the care home she had been staying in. From the moment we entered the shop we were made to feel so welcome and at ease. Nothing was too much trouble to assist us in choosing the flowers in what was a very sad time for us. Today Friday 7th February we collected the flower arrangements. When we were shown the flower arrangement my wife was overcome with emotion and tears. They were beautiful and everything she wanted and beyond hers and my expectations. What a wonderful skill and talent Sarah and her colleagues have. Outstanding value and far better than we have had before. Although we live some distance away we will be back and highly recommend you to pay a visit. To Sarah and colleagues a big big thank you for your understanding, empathy and brilliant work. X

In the end I go for a fiver's worth of fresh-in-today, pungent-as-you-like star-gazer lillies. It seems that lots of the customers have been in before and are returning as the service and product they have received in the past is so good.
