Liberty in London (Wild of Heart) unprofessionally "forgot" to deliver the order and I didn't find out until 11.00am on the day delivery was due. After a hurried Google search, I called Matthew at Fabulous Flowers, and the most beautiful, contemporary bouquet was delivered to my daughter by Fabulous Flowers within an hour or so. Very professional and efficient. Will definitely use this florist again & have already recommended them to family.

There were 6 white roses and a couple of other beautiful white flowers. But the bunch was quite small for £40 and so I went to another florist to buy more white roses to make it more gift worthy! The actual roses are beautiful and when they open up are quite large and I definitely would shop here again. I think it is helpful to be present as they are made up. The bouquets are all stunning, but they also make up bouquets on request. Just tell them what you'd like in there, or give them some information on the occassion/recipient and they'll make up a beautiful display. They have a a knack for arranging flowers in a modern, fresh way which just lloks amazing. It is quite expensive, but I find the results are worth it as they look so much better than most of the other florists around and so unique.

My Mum and I arrived for our appointment with Nicky with so many vague ideas, many of them…read moreconflicting! Nicky listened and looked through photos of flowers I liked, and what I would be wearing, and to the fact that the wedding was on Halloween and we were leaning into the weird! For some reason, despite being someone who wears colour all day every day, I had thought I might like a cream bouquet... Nicky explained that if nothing else was cream, then there wouldn't be anything for the cream to "link" to, and the she began showing us some incredible flowers that she could offer, and some examples of they would go together. She listened to my dislikes (no roses, not too heavy on anything blue), and my likes ( I *love* cabbages in a bouquet, and anything that looks a bit alien). We went back for another appointment a couple of weeks later, and Nicky had done a brilliant job on pulling all the ideas together. Even a last minute change from buttonholes for the bridesmaids (Queen Bees) and Best Woman to wrist corsages didn't put her off her stride - she understood the brief and all was left on her hands for the following week! On the day before the wedding, I collected the flowers and was BLOWN AWAY by the care and attention Nicky had given, and how they were all beyond perfect - she had taken what we talked about and elevated it to the next level! Even down to remembering that I didn't want a neat and elegant bouquet - I wanted it to look as though I had run past a meadow and just held my hand out to grab whatever was there. Hopefully I'll work out how to attach photos and you will see what an absolutely incredible job Nicky did for us. We weren't having flowers at the venue, so this was a fairly small booking (bridal bouquet, buttonholes for about 6 men and wrist corsages for about 8 ladies, plus buttonhole for my Mum and new MIL), but the care and attention Nicky gave shone through in every item.

It's in the chic, rather bohemian area of Jericho, so fits in nicely with the little cafes and grocers. In their own words, they specialise in natural, stylish and contemporary flowers. Quite how flowers can be contemporary, I don't really know, but they certainly manage it. They're used by lots of the Oxford colleges for conferences and posh dinners, by local restaurants, such as the Old Parsonage Hotel, and for weddings, funerals, celebrations and personal greetings. The basic gist is that you go in or phone to discuss your requirements and they'll talk over your options. They seem quite flexible and the flower arrangements I've seen have been magnificent and long-lasting. They come in baskets, vases, pots and all sorts, so don't limit your thoughts to the humble plastic-wrapped bouquet. You pay for what you get, of course, and bouquets to order start at around £25 and rapidly get more expensive. Delivery is £5 for Oxford and £8 for elsewhere.

All of them looked amazingly colourful and fresh. It was then rather disappointing to walk out of the shop sometime later not having ordered any flowers at all! This is down to an unfortunate misunderstanding by the lady who served me. I was looking for their recommendations in having a custom-made table centrepiece created, but somehow the lady seemed to believe I was asking for help in making my own. I felt very embarrassed that she looked to be struggling with suggestions when I had not stated at any point that I wanted to do a DIY project. I have no clue where this impression came from. I eventually left having got no further along in what I wanted but felt too inhibited with other customers in the shop to correct this mistaken impression. Having heard so many positive comments and seen Fabulous Flower's stunning and imaginative designs I am sure that they are every bit as good, if not more so, than reputation says. It might be a help to be extremely clear in what you are looking for, as the lady I dealt with didn't seem to understand my requirements or ask any questions that could have resolved the confusion.

The shop front itself is very easy to find on the high street, located fairly central in the town. The staff are always friendly and helpful regarding old customers, and I presume new! And we have had no problems with working with them in the past, and would highly recommend their services to anyone.
