I had a leak in the faucet in the tub. A friend of mine replaced the inner workings twice and it continued to leak. Repeat customer here. They replaced our kitchen sink. Evan did a great job. He had to stop the job since the counter needed to be cut. The counter hole is about 1/2 inch small for the sink to fit in. He said he would have cut it but since it's stone he's afraid he'll crack it. Truly appreciated that to ensure we do not end up with needing a whole new counter. When we got the counter cut. I just had to call back and they made sure he came back the following day. Evan installed the sink perfectly and ensured that his work area was clean before he left. I confirmed pretty late in the day - around 1:30 pm, Miguel was pretty on the job, got the model that I wanted and installed in couple of hours. Neat job! Initially their pricing was quite high but I showed them couple of competitors who gave me a much cheaper estimate. They beat the lowest pricing by $50 or so. I had the City come out because I noticed that the water meter cover was under water. Found out that I had .4 gallons per minute leaking from somewhere. Edger from Shellback Plumbing helped me coordinate National Leak Detection and their plumbers to come out and fix the problem. He was so helpful. The plumbers, David and Kyle were awesome! So was Deagan from National Dectection. They all worked together and solved what was a builder issue from over 33 years ago. Called a few minutes before closing Saturday night and they had somebody out Sunday morning to fix a valve for our bath tub (water wouldn't shut off despite turning the handle). Jesse came out. I was helping out a neighbor with his main sewer line that was backed up since he doesn't speak 100% English. These guys came out and explained the process throughly. They fixed the problem by using a hydromachine. After they dropped a camera to verify the problem and it turned out to be roots from several large trees nearby. Needless to say they need to dig out a large section that is very deep, 9 feett deep on a hillside. They are still at it but they were very honest, upfront, and explained everything in detail. I had been deferring repair of a very annoying "rattling" of the pipes every time the master bath toilet was flushed because I thought I needed to re-pipe my 60+ year old house at a heavy cost. I finally got tired of putting up with the problem and looked for a plumber who does not do re-piping to give me an honest opinion. I found Shellback Plumbing and Drain on Yelp, and they booked an appointment for the next morning. That's after another plumber told me that his techs were so busy that he couldn't make an appointment for me and that I should call back in four days. Shellback's tech, David, arrived a few minutes early, came in with booties on, and almost immediately diagnosed the problem as a worn out "cartridge." (I used to call it the faucet stem.) Fortunately, he had the part on his truck, so I had him replace both the hot and cold faucet cartridges. He was gone in only 75 minutes, the problem was fixed, and the price was reasonable.
