We also ordered some house made coleslaw. We sat at the one booth and we served very quickly. Our burgers were really good, the burger itself tasted good. The coleslaw was also a big win. We had 2 double burgers, coleslaws and 2 fountain drinks for 22$, great value and great taste. It is a true locals place run by a family. The family pictures on the wall and everyone coming in seems to know the staff. They have a drive through which also keeps them busy. It is not a fancy place but has a family lunch counter vibe. Not only is it located practically on the UNC Campus in University Square adjacent to Granville Towers (which has its own security), but it's only a few doors down from a satellite office of the Chapel Hill Police Department. The staff is nice as well, even late into the night. If the party's gone dry, you need a late night sugar fix, or are just in search of this week's Vogue, Ken's will likely have it. And, more importantly, as safety has recently become an issue in Chapel Hill Ken's might be a wise choice.
