But here's the thing. There's a guy in the deli making amaZing barbecue. Master level! He smokes over pecan wood, never uses lighter fluid to get his coals going, makes his own sauce (traditional tomatoey, mellow but not boring) and sides. He told me all about it and clearly he cooks with lots of knowledge and love. His meat is THE BOMB. No. Joke. So you should stop here and get some. He gives out samples so you can try before you buy. I don't know how long he's been here; I was just driving through on the way to Florida. But you know I'm gonna stop by here now every time I'm on my way south. He told me he has plans to fix up the left side of the building (which used to be a grill, but of course now it's derelict). Let's hope he does! Go buy his meat so he can!

My car was STOLEN from my complex and Twin State was contacted by the police department to pick it up when it was located, undriveable. This was a Sunday night; when I called Monday (the next day) to get pricing I was quoted $755 by both the lady receptionist and the owner/manager. The receptionist was pleasant enough but refused to provide an itemized list of charges; when I finally got the owner on the phone he was incredibly rude and dismissive and refused to lower his exorbitant fee. It was only the intervention of the police department that changed his tune; after the owner was "leaned on" by a DT from the traffic division my fee was reduced...to $325. Mind you my car was STOLEN, it wasn't my choice to use the company and they had it for a total of 2 nights ( I picked it up on Tuesday). When I reached out to the CPA for the state Mr. Smith of course denied his original quote ever existed, and was dismissive in his reply to my complaint. For the love of all things holy DO NOT use this company especially if you are a woman because this man was DEEPLY disrespectful, lacked any empathy for the situation I was in, and was very much ready to take advantage of me until a MAN (from the police department) intervened on my behalf- and on top of all that, refused any accountability for his actions and behavior.
