OhhhMyyyy! Time for the ol' trusty default three star Yelp gas station check list: Good price? Right now, is there such a thing? I think it was around $3.20 which is...what it is. Did I trip over any random tire shards, radiator parts or left behind wing nuts? Definitely not the cleanest place I've ever seen but it did the job and there are a few small grassy areas around the perimeter of the station where the dog did it's bizness so good enough. Easy on/off to the highway/road of my choosing? Off/on DuPont Parkway was smoother than some freshly shaved butt cheeks. Human intervention needed? Thankfully, no. Shell - Gas Stations Near Me - Smyrna, Delaware

I have used the Shell Station in Smyrna, DE, as my primary source of gasoline for nearly eight years. The prices have varied - especially during the Pandemic - but one thing hasn't changed. The cheerful, smiling face of Raj, the primary attendant I've dealt with over that time. He is invariably helpful - including this morning when the newly installed software on two pumps refused to accept my Shell card for payment. In the past, he has even walked out with me to a pump that was not working properly and cleared the issue for my use. Raj is a fine representative of Shell and I have seen him interact respectfully with other customers, as well. Even this morning a woman with an armful of snack purchases had difficulty finding a product while two other customers waited; he almost immediately provided the eye drops she sought. read more

The lady who runs the gas station store has terrible customer service. I bought a whole tank of gas and went to use the restroom and she said I wasn't allowed because I wasn't a paying customer. I told her that I was at the second to last pump but went and parked by the store to use the restroom and she argued with me and wouldn't let me use the bathroom. Also: there's a Wawa two miles up the road that's bigger, cleaner, and friendlier. Don't waste your time here. read more

Bad customer service. Attendant was very racist. My daughter ask for the restroom and she said are you filling up gas? And my daughter said yes. She gave them access and when i went in to use the bathroom, she said you can't use the bathroom and told her i just filled up gas and she insisted No, you cant use the bathroom. I'm doing something and NO you can't use the bathroom. This person who works in a customer service company shouldn't be working in this kind of work or better yet the company should teach and let her know first what's the customer service means. read more

Walked in to get a drink and use the bathroom and the cashier immediately started yelling at us that the bathrooms were for customers only....as we were looking for things to buy. Would never stop here again. Would give zero stars if possible. read more

If I could give this place a zero I would! The lady working was so rude. We were traveling for hours and needed to get gas and go to the bathroom. We were also told the rest area up the road didn't have toilets so we had to buy something if we wanted to use the bathroom. The woman badgered me and my friend the entire time we were there that one of my friends just peed outside. I went to the bathroom in this disgusting one stall bathroom with a huge line. But of course after my friends bought things they got to use the "employee" restroom a clean restroom with 3 stalls. Obviously switched the signs. The kicker was before we walked out a man asked to heat his baby's bottle in the microwave and she was insisting she was going to make him pay to use it. DO NOT GO HERE! The worst experience I have ever had. Like the just over the top absolutely terrible service for no reason is ridiculous. The Black lady working there was fairly rude. "She wouldn't give her name" (I'm black also) [Just stating unbiased factz]. I'm in line the manager gave a customer a pump of sanitizer to take to another gentleman at the gas pump. I then asked to used the restroom. The attendance told me its closed go to the port jon out back. Did that came in to wash my hands or get a pump of sanitizer. She then told me I can sell u one a bottle. I'm not going to give you just a pump of it. Sorry. I stayed there's nothing to watch or sanitize my hands with after using your restroom. It seem disgusting to touch products for sale In the store spreading germs from the disgusting porta jon. I told her as a manager and I'm the business of customer service it would make since to have a place for customers to sanitize there hands after using your restroom. It goes hand in hand. I'll see if the health department is ok with this. Needless to say I'd never pur anything out of there. She can't assure anything is clean plus the cust service was quite rude and unnecessary. My husband and I stopped by, and I was headed inside and JT was standing outside and asked where I was going, I said to throw this cup in the trash and use the restroom she said for me to go to the pumps and throw the cup there. She was yelling at me when I started inside. I happen to go inside the wine area, and she followed me. I had gone in the wrong side and started back out and she followed me back in and she asked me where I was going, I said to go to the restroom. I went to the restroom. She was continuing to yell at customer. So, I ask the young lady at the counter what was the address and whom was the lady doing the yelling? She gave me address and told me the woman was JT. While I was there 3 families left because she was very rude, and I told her this. I told her I was sending this note to the company and hope you will look into the person with the worst manners and rudeness I have ever encountered. read more
