There is a Dairy Queen attached to this Exxon - so it's easy to see - especially at night. I originally passed by this Exxon, but the second gas station I came across on U.S. 340 North headed out of town - another Exxon, had no pay at the pump option - so I returned here to gas up. Full convenience store, breakfast sandwiches, coffee, and more here as well.

The location is easy to get in and out of. Nice folks work here. You'll feel welcomed. Coffee works, and theres some candy choices. This is close to the major attractions. If you've had a good horse ride, or hike this could be helpful. Also sometimes it's smart to just take a break from driving too.

It was $3.?$%%^%^ per at the time of pumpage and while nuts. it's still light years better than the beat down I take in the gas taxatopia of PA so Hell Yeah! on this one. Did I trip over any random tire shards, radiator parts or left behind wing nuts? No runs, no hits and no errors. Easy on/off to the highway/road of my choosing? We had just gotten off of 81 on our way to Cooter's and this was the first place to stop. No real science behind it, just quick and easy like Wednesday morning. Human intervention needed? The crisscrossing continued throughout the day and I had seen this location on my way to another stop. I made a mental note to come back here on my way out. Especially since I was about to hit the highway and head back home. I pulled in and had to take a minute to find a parking spot, this place, like other reviews have stated, stays busy. Not just with vehicular traffic, but with foot traffic and bikes. There were a few out front while people were rummaging inside and dining. I made my way in and headed for the facilities. They were in order and a breeze to use. Came back out to grab a drink and snack for the road. I then got in line, bypassed the self checkouts to get an item from behind the counter. The staff here were kind of fun. They kept it moving though. Having gotten my items I headed back outside to try and get out of this lot. With the amount of customers here, it can take some time to get out of your spot. Not only that, it may take some time to get on the road in the direction you need to go. This is a very busy intersection and you do need to be careful when exiting.

Note, however, upon traveling just a few miles down Spotswood Trail/Rte. 33, we found both BP and Wawa gas stations near Elkton offering unleaded gas for $2.57/gallon.
