Last week he fueled up 32 gallons of diesel in his 9mo old truck and left town for a work trip towing equipment to Tulsa. Half way to Springfield a fuel light came in saying there was water in the fuel!! He called a dealership while on the road, they said stop driving it immediately and he drove to the dealership. He had got them to look at it the next morning. So that cost him a day. There WAS water in the fuel and a day later and $1800 worth of damage they had to fix on his truck. He used to spend $100-150/DAY in fuel here, do the math. Never again. We will never buy gas or fuel here ever again. QT is one block away and they will now have our business.

For being someone that has lived in and around this area for a long time it's funny to me that I hadn't ever stopped in here for gas until just now. All of that being said, this BP location is located at the busy intersection of Antioch and College in Overland Park. I think it can seem a bit intimidating because of the side lot and there not appearing to be many spots, but I had no issue getting in, getting gas, and being on my way. I did not care for the super loud and vibrant screens with advertising and music playing from them while you pump up. I mean, do we really need TVs in our gas pumps? But aside from that I had no issues and I'd stop here again if I needed to. I can't speak to the inside as I paid at the pump.

Came up and said I've been told you've been getting ice water here and idk who said you could do that but we charge for ice...that seems scummy as ice water in hot weather literally saves lives, she looked like she wanted to argue but I wasn't feeling it and simply said "fine I'll go to QuickTrip" the kicker is I did get gas there more than a few times because it was right there but no more, I'll sooner run out of gas than deal with that so if you want ice water refills in your own cup, just keep on moving and if you do go in lock your doors because it's not the greatest neighborhood and once again, ice water saves lives oh and it's been the managers that let people have ice water so now you know

We stopped in to get our girls some road trip snacks and they loved all the candy and whatnot. I do like getting an unsweetened ice tea with a little lemonade in it from QuikTrip, so I got in on that too. Like most QuikTrips, their staff is quick on the register and you won't wait long, even during a rush. QuikTrip's are typically the best gas stations in town, but again this is one I'll skip more often than not.
