Apparently the car wash only washes your car if you pay for the most pricey car wash. If you dont then your car will still be dirty and they will tell you to purchase the most pricey wash if you want it actually washed, then buy the expensive one if you want it rinsed then buy any of the others. As I sit here, they now have put out cones to block the car wash entrance. No effort made to refund my purchase though. terrible business practices read more

Rude , rude , rude I purchased a car wash while pumping gas cause I wanted something quick before running errands . As I finished pumping gas - I saw that there was a long line so I went inside and asked them to cancel my carwash. Told him the line too long and i need to go. But the guy said no. Told me I can use it anytime today. Asked him at any shell? He said no this one only. I understand that they may not be able to cancel the transaction BUT the interaction with the cashier was just ugh. Dreadful. Most inefficient staff I have ever encountered at a gas station. I wanted to use my fuel reward account to save 13 cts on a gallon but apparently, after talking to 3 employees it wasn't working for an unknown reason. They were not able to apply the discount so I had to pay full price because they could make there system work properly. It is what I call an unfair situation where the vendor makes profit by making their system dysfonctionnal and unreliable. At this date I still have $80, (twice) pending on my credit card. Gas station attendant was extremely rude. I had a question and instead of getting help, she kept interrupting me and telling me I had to pay first. I wanted to let her know that I had already paid and that I wanted to make sure that the transaction had closed. She kept interrupting me and telling me I had to pay first and that this wasn't Mexico where you fill up and then pay. Eventually I showed her the meter that i had filled up and she finally gave me a receipt after she continually told me that there was no payment. Please address this. read more

This Shell has been recently remodeled. All of the pumps are new & clean. Squeegees are in good working order and paper towels are available. Fuel Rewards Cards are accepted here, so there is at least 3 cents off per gallon! It is tricky to get in an out of the gas station as it's on the corner of Tully & King. read more

This Shell is literally in the middle of one of the busiest intersection in San Jose. Next to highway 101 and across the street from Lion market. Horrible location I might add. I don't usually go here for gas but since my mechanic moved to this location I have no choice. I give a 5 star for my mechanic because he's always curtious and gives fairly decent deals, never stretching the problem with my car. His name is Vinh and he's very popular with the local Vietnamese community. I recommend him for all your auto needs plus it's only 25 dollars an oil change! As for getting gas here. The prices are ridiculous compared to other gas stations around the area. I'll only use this gas station if my car is out of gas and I happen to be in the area. They do have an air pump with $1.50 sticker on it. But actually it is FREE. You have to ask clerk to turn it on.

4 out of 5 for the auto mechanics here. One sign of a truly special mechanic is whether they can sense if you would like something done with enough Tender Loving Care to last for the long haul, or whether you just need a quick fix now for for dirt cheap. These guys here can tell, and have enough skills between them to make it swing either way you want it. Another sign is how these guys are secure enough to not try to hustle you into your next appointment just to take more of your money. The lead mechanic said that he prefers to work on cars owned by drivers who value the extra efforts that he puts in. Penny-Pinchers who just want to lowball him for the lowest price they can find by playing off competing mechanics against each other in bidding wars - as far as he's concerned, they can go have their fun somewhere else. read more

The worst Manager of any retail/gas station ever.... I am a realtor and have friends who are realtors. And as most realtors I do open houses on the weekend.... We had our Open House sign at the street corner "NEXT" to the light post on the public street, "NOT" on the property. 2 weekends in a roll, they were taken. Finally went to the Gas Station Manager and asked if they see anyone taking the sign. Several Attendants Said "LUCY" took the sign and kept it, and would not return them, until we come back to see "LUCY'. We came back and saw "LUCY" and asked if she took the signs... She said she didn't and maybe the employees did. Made her walk to their storage, and there were our signs. How can you take someone's signs with their name & #'s and keep them in on property? That is basically "THEFT" in my opinion. Call SJPD, who did not want to file a "theft" report, because "LUCY" thought it was a misunderstanding. There are sign ordinance that allow realtor to place signs on public sidewalk as long as they are in a safe location and not intrude on right-of-way, etc. "LUCY" Don't touch and take other people properties, that did not belong to you! You are responsible for your employee's actions. They take order/instruction from someone. If you are the manager, you are responsible for their action! Worst possible Manager!!!! Came here to pump gas and i guess i said the wrong pump # from where my car was actually at. I only paid $25. Well someone took my gas.from the pump that was paid and when i came back inside to ask why my pump was working, they said that i said thr wrong pump. They looked at the cameras and told me that i said a different pump mind you that they never showed me that video. I called the manager he basically said its my fault which i get if i truly said the wrong # but show me the evidence then. This is a multi billion dollar co. Even if i did say the wrong pump and never got the gas that i paid for, youre telling me that you just cant reset the pump and put the money on there. Never going here again. Terrible customer service and the cashier, Dinkar, is very anal-retentive. During Chinese New Years, I wanted to give out individual lottery tickets to my friends and family. He put all my money on a single ticket saying, "I don't have the time for that." Today, I went to the car wash and the machine wasn't working properly. I had already paid, but the machine wouldn't give me the receipt. I called customer service, and he gave me attitude, telling me that it was my fault and I had to get in line again, even though I was already at the front. The service is horrible here aswell as the car wash. The car wash seems to always be down and the time I do get a chance to use it something goes wrong . Walked inside purchased a basic car wash then drove up to the car wash and proceeded to enter my car wash key code the screen asked if I'd like to upgrade so i thought what the heck might aswell . Well apparently you're not allowed to upgrade at the screen because it freezes the car wash and it has to be reset. the cashier seemed irritated about the situation how was I supposed to know why even give an option to upgrade then stupid i know . Anyways the cashier told me he would give me a new key code I asked if i would get the upgraded car wash because i paid for it he said no because he believes i wasnt charged for it because it froze . Either way i asked if he could check if i was charged he left and came back and he assured me that i wasn't charged the upgraded price. When I went back in to tell him he walked off, I told his coworker which then called him back. He then proceeded to tell me it was only $9. I came around 1:30 am to the gas up and come in to the new loop store I give the cashier $20 I ask him to charge me $8 for gas he started to give changed from the register box and he gets $2 dollar bills then was about to give a $10 bill from the box then he says ho I got this one here I'll just give that one. He had it on top of the register the whole time I was there and did not include with the money he was counting. It's 7 AM and I just got the premium car wash ($11) and all it did was spray my car with water, something must have gotten stuck we were in there so long with the water just spraying on the front of our car. Finally it stops and the light turns green, we pull up to the drying station and it doesn't turn on. So I get out of the car and let them know that their car wash didn't wash our car, and now won't dry it. The girl at the counter was rude to say the least, started talking under her breath and I stood there confused so I just smile, she looks at me and damn near rolls her eyes, and then walked past me to fix it I assumed so I just followed. I said thank you, She again ignored me, I just got back in the car. She couldn't fix it so she calls another employee (a smaller asian guy with glasses) who was even worse than her! He gets it to turn on for 20 seconds (it's supposed to last 2 minutes) so he turns it on again, it lasts 20 more seconds, and i get out of the car to let him know politely that it turned off and his response was "I started it again already so you got it twice for thirty minutes" I said "really? I've been drying the car 30 MINUTES?" he said "well I started it and it went 30 seconds two times" I said "it went twenty seconds twice, and it's supposed to be 2 minutes" he kept arguing (literally) that the 40 seconds was long enough, I finally said "do you realize how wet this car is right now?" He looks at it and finally decides to turn it on again FOR ANOTHER 20 SECONDS. We just give up and drive away even though the car is still wet because I'm pregnant and have a doctors appointment to make. We pull up to the gas pump to clean our windows cause they're so streaky and gross, and I realize the whole car is STILL DIRTY! It looks worse than before, still dusty and now just streaky. I would never take time to write a bad review, the customer service here was ridiculous and I wasted my money. I am beyond dissatisfied, I didn't even waste any time to make a yelp for this sole purpose. Never again! Didn't even offer a free car wash coupon. If they would have just been kind I wouldn't have cared that the machine broke and didn't wash my car, I would have just took the loss and left.
