**This review is for a CRUEL and totally DISRESPECTFUL Employee named "BIJAY"that works nights... This guy has been terribly disrespectful to me for a long time, but I have never written a review up until now.. He also works at the 711 and San Carlos and has VERBALLY ABUSED me and talked disrespectfully to me in both locations!! Tonight I went in and I asked to use the bathroom.. he started getting angry and said I'm not allowed to use the bathroom after 10pm in a nasty voice then says are you gonna buy the building?? WTH??!! I end up using the restroom and then I get out of the restroom and a minute later he starts YELLING through the whole store, that I left a piece of paper on the floor the restroom, which was a bunch of BS.. there were people all around inside the store? He was so awful and yelling at me so disrespectfully.. I have the whole conversation recorded so I can let his management know how he yells at me and I don't know how he talks to other people... HE is a loose cannon!! He should not have a job if he's going to treat customers the way he talk to me. I have other witnesses that heard him yelling at me... I do not recommend you go in there after 11 PM when this guy is working.. I have not had a problem with the other employees. Shell - pumps - Gas Stations Near Me - San Carlos, California

Very rude customer service who are two Latino guys working at K market, said "Fuck off" to me and that incident was happened at about 4:30 pm today. I highly recommend all the customers to avoid this Shell gas station and K market. I really don't have idea how K market franchise hires those kind of rude staffs. This rating is to compliment the very competent associate working last night when I went to get gas. Since my credit card wasn't working outside, I had to go inside to complete my transaction. Although I wasn't too happy about having to pay inside; the associate was so pleasant. Working nights alone alone is hard enough but on top of it there's the homeless that come around to deal with. I come here for an oil change since its about 5 minutes away from my work and they always manage to do it quick and there's not much of a wait especially if u call in advance to check how busy they are. The oil change is only 19.95 with tax comes out to about $23 or $24 Also if you are handicapped they have special pumps for handicapped people.. with instructions on how to get the gas station attendant to come fill up your car..something I have not seen at other gas stations read more

I have never seen service here nor is it an auto repair shop like the other reviews though it did renovate recently- so it's just a Circle K and gas. And for the gas, it's the closest to me and convenient and easy on/off in the mornings to my commute so I think this place is great. Sure a few cents more for the good location but to me it's literally $5 at most a month more than driving down to RWC for cheaper gas. read more

Came here to have a propane tank refilled. It was quick, painless and I get a full tank vs. the exchange tanks which are only 3/4 full.

No problem at all getting propane filled. Fast and easy 4 gallons $17.

Unbelievable! My husband worked late tonight and stopped at the Circle K for a pack of cigarettes. As he was digging in his pocket for the money, the employee who has sideburns purposely held the cigarettes out of reach behind the counter rather than putting them up on the counter as he does with me and others. My husband is black. I have overheard this employee talking negative about the San Carlos Police when they stop in for coffee as well. They should be so lucky to have the police around. I am extremely ashamed and embarrassed that the owners can't find a more professional and competent employee than this man. It is unfortunate since this location is very convenient and I have always been very pleased with the owners and their efforts to make customers feel welcome. read more

I came here to get my dad's 1995 Mercedes fixed, it needed a tune up and have it's spark plugs replaced. It was exorbitantly expensive, and they did not even fix everything they said they did. My mom drove over to pay for it earlier in the day, so all I had to do was pick it up. When me and my brother drove over, both the owner and the mechanic were extremely rude to us. I showed him the receipt that showed we paid, and asked if there was anything else we needed to do. He said "not unless you want to pay for it again, you little rich white boy". Not kidding. Don't go to this place, they are extremely unprofessional, their work is crappy and their customer service sucks. I will not come here again. read more

Dont come to this station unless you want to have a bad experience.I came in today to buy some cigarettes and coffee. I decided to use the bathroom first since there were people at the counter. The lady at the counter was extremely rude and said "are u going to buy something first?" I told her yes so she let me use the bathroom. When. I got out I proceeded to buy my cigs and coffee. I noticed that the peru coffee was cold and I let her know. She snapped at me and said "well just use dark roast" which I hate. So to be peaceful I went ahead and attempted to pour the dark roast coffee and it was Luke warm . So I let her know that the dark roast was also not hot. AND THIS RUDE A** LADY SAID " it's not cold your crazy, we never have problems with that coffee. I don't know what tour talking about...its not cold" she argued with me?? Really? So I calmly invited her to stick her finger in the coffee... it's Luke warm. By the time you add creamer it's cold. Bottom line she should not be in customer service! Period. She is rude, combative, argumentative and definitely not someone that should be dealing with paying customers. Her name was Irene. I will NEVER COME here again. Such a rude person. And isn't it their job to make sure there is fresh HOT coffee for the customers? I really don't think I was asking too much. I wasn't even asking her to make fresh coffee I was just trying to make bring it to her attention and she was argumentative and extremely rude. Irene needs a new job! read more

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! Took a tire here to have it repaired after driving over a nail. The mechanic who assisted me was not friendly nor did he fix my tire. 12 hours later I came out of my house to find it flat again. When AAA came to change my tire yet again, they said it was a terrible patch job. When I tried to call the gas station for a refund, I was told I needed to show a AAA receipt. Since when does AAA give receipts and why do I need to prove that there are no more holes in the tire? Shouldn't the mechanic who fixed it identified that? In the end, the manager was completely rude and would only refund my money if I drove the hour one way back to the gas station so that they could look at the tire themselves. Why would I trust them and why should I drive 2 hours for nothing. Just refund my money and I will NEVER RETURN!!! read more

HORRIBLE NIGHTMARE SERVICE!!! Please BEWARE!! I was referred here by a friend with glowing reviews. I typically take my car to the dealer for repair but wanted to get it done while I was at work so brought it here. I brought them the dealer invoice with the note about what needed to be replaced...the right front CV boot. To make a long story short, my brakes went out on me on the freeway on my way home from the shell station. My ABS light came one and I took it immediately to my dealer as they were the closest. After almost $800.00 of repair work from the dealer my car was back to normal. I took the defective part back to Shell per their request in order to get a refund which was promised by the Manager, Joy. When she went to do the refund, she actually charged me instead, so now I'm out $600.00 total to Shell!! After two days of waiting for my refunds, I went back to Shell to insist on my refund. They refused to give me my refund stating that I brought back the wrong part. The mechanic advised her just to issue me the refund but she was insisting on putting my car up on the jack to inspect the work done. Ridiculous!! I wasn't going to let them TOUCH my car again!! After much arguing, they finally issued me my credit. But, until it clears my bank, I don't trust them as far as I can throw them! They are despicable people to work with, rude, and dishonest. Go elsewhere to avoid a headache!! read more
