I get it employees need to take a lunch break, but there should always be someone at the counter register. One lady is out front scrubbing the parking lot while the other employee takes a break. The employees locked the door for 30 minutes. No one at the counter. The customers keep walking up to the door, and the door is locked with a sign taped to the door. A lot of customers are walking a way, not happy. Another customer, including myself, can't leave to another gas station because we will run out of gas. The other employee said they should be back in 10 minutes. No employee has returned yet after 10 minutes. What's going on? read more

It's time for another review. I've discovered this service station that's only a couple miles from me (Sacramento) after experiencing poor service from the Chevron and AM/PM right across the street from me. When I discover a classy establishment that impress' me I pay it forward. Hence, my latest review. Anyway, this Shell station operates 24/7 and sleep patterns vary it's perfect for me. The team at this location is outstanding. The normal graveyard shift has Craig and Author. These two guys are super friendly yet professional. The store is fully stocked including beer and wine, candy, sandwiches, etc. The station manager, Kim, needs to recognize those two employees personally less they become dissatisfied and move to, say to the Safeway complex down the street. However, in talking with them these last few months they seemed pretty happy there. I've never worked graveyard except years ago in Ashland, Oregon (Safeway). Believe me, it's not an easy shift. If it was up to me I'd get authorization to get them a cash bonus not a pat on the back. It's only my opinion. Daryl read more

I've Been coming too this store for years , he's new and seemed very angry that management had him take a blower too parking lot and clean so he blew crap at customers feet as they approached and blocked cars with cones as if obviously trying too get someone too complain too manager about it . He was asked too move a cone he placed behind a car blocking it for no reason as he stood in front of store resting . He replied with laughter and went inside store ignoring what was happening ! I've been getting gas here for six or seven years. This is a pretty typical quickiemart style self serve gas and go place. Everything is over priced. On the eight or ten times I've actually gone inside to purchase something, counter staff has always been less than impressive (if not rude). As gas stations go in the area, this one is on par with the others. I just find the staff to be lack luster, prices high, facility kinda gritty. Convenient location. Have stopped here plenty of times to pump gas. Actually went inside today to grab something to drink. Young guy at the register was friendly and welcoming. Shell offers a discount program and you can get as much as 20 cents off per gallon. Not only that they have one of the best gasoline which helps clean the intake. So I use shell gasoline and this station is huge with plenty of dispensing units and water for cleaning the windshield. read more

Come here every morning for my energy drink before work, Kim and her staff are absolutely amazing! They greet everyone who comes in and mostly on a first name basis. I go here often as it's near by. The staff is dandy and the fountain drinks are to die for. I love that Rafa's Mexican food is in here and that there is seating as well. The gas is pricy and there are wretched tv's that spout advertisements at you while you are held captive pumping gas which is a major turn off for me. There's a car wash but I've never used it, and vacuums as well. They provide a code for air and I'm glad for that. There's lots I don't like but it's better than most gas stations. They also offer a card thing that allows you to give money off gas when you buy coffee or fountain drinks.... .05$ per drink. read more

I purchased a car wash, some candy, and a drink. When I went to the car wash I was behind a nice lady in a black BMW and the car wash stopped half way through, and would not restart, This left her vehicle covered in soap, unwashed, and not dried. The machine than failed to work at all and I followed her (the lady stuck in the broken car wash with a car covered in soap) around the store and we asked for a refund for $8 (seriously 8 dollars, my car is not clean and has not been washed at all). The Shell employee's, Isaiah and Angela were incredibly rude to myself and the nice lady with a BMW that was covered in unwashed soap, who was toting around 2 small kids. She was incredibly rude to both of us and refused to provide a refund or any contact information. No manager or supervisor was present in the store and Angela tried to contact the owner, but they did not pick up their phones so we were refused a refund. A carwash is an opportunity purchase that I selected. If their carwash was not working I would have been fine with a refund and been on my way. Apparently this is impossible at this branch and nobody gets a refunds on carwashes, which is especially poor business when the carwash does not work correctly. I have purchased thousands of dollars of gas, food, and convenience items from this store as it is the only gas station and convenience store on my return home from work, but never again, The employees were so rude and divisive that I will go elsewhere every time in the future, even if it costs me additional time and money. In Conclusion, I purchased a few food items and a car wash for a carwash which did not function properly. I requested a refund for the undelivered carwash and I was refused by a Shell employee (Angela) as they did not offer refunds on their carwash, even when it does not work correctly.
