We were admiring a green resin bowl and decided we didn't need to spend $30 on a bowl at the gas station. At the last minute, we said, what the hell, we're on vacation, let's get it. As I scanned it at the self checkout, I saw that it came up as $130... which had to be a mistake RIght?!? When we double checked we noticed that the 1 in the 130 was written in by hand. I'm guessing because their pricing gun doesn't go above 2 digits... because why would it. I know you're the fancy Parkers but damnnnnn!

Charging gives you time to take everything in. If I needed a shower, I could get one here for $17. That's pretty cool. If I needed some electronics, I could get that here too. They offer many things you may not have thought of that could be useful on a road trip. And, it you're living the nomadic lifestyle, you could take a break and do some gambling on their machines here. Or, you could have a meal. They have a lot of meal options. Everything felt well maintained and clean, which isn't always the case at gas stations. Prices have been pretty reasonable compared to other stations nearby, and I've never had to wait for a pump. Overall it's a quick, reliable place to stop when you're driving through the Derenne and Abercorn area and need gas.

They had some good items, but overall the lack of assistance left me quite upset and lacking.

When I tried to check into this QT on Yelp, I realized a business listing hadn't been created yet so I made this one. This QT opened on September 7, 2023. It's still relatively new. https://www.wtoc.com/2023/09/08/new-quiktrip-opens-bloomingdale/ As has been well-documented by my Yelp reviews over the past 10+ years, I'm a fan of QT, especially their newer locations, because of their bright, spacious, and clean gas stations and convenience stores, consistently good customer service, always-stocked paper towels (by the pumps), free air for yours tires, good food and drink selection (including made-to-order food from QT Kitchens), and 24/7 operating hours. Like newer QTs, this one has No Ethanol fuel. Since this one is just off I-16 (exit 152) and not far from I-95, it also has fueling lanes for semi-trailer trucks. However, this is not a full-fledged truck stop, like Love's or Pilot, with showers, attached restaurants, etc. For cars, there are 16 pumps. Something "interesting" I noticed about this QT (and I've been to a lot of them) is there are no car pumps directly in front of the store. If facing the storefront, truck fueling is on the left side of the store and car fueling is on the right. There used to be trees, grass, and a single-family home here as late as April 2022. The property was razed and this QT was built. I'm not surprised because this is a prime location for a QT. Before we headed out, as my wife munched on some pretzels that she bought inside, my brother-in-law and I commented on the brick house across the street. I'm not familiar with the area, but it wouldn't surprise me either if it too gets razed and this entire area around exit 152 gets developed into more commercial properties. As someone who does a lot of long-distance driving throughout Georgia, South Carolina, and North Carolina, I always appreciate a QT. This was the first one built along I-16 between Macon and Savannah (over 150 miles)! If any QuikTrip decision-makers are reading this, please build more QTs along I-16 and along I-95 in South Carolina like you did in the 2010s along I-85 in South Carolina. My SUV usually cries when I fill up, but today it purred. Inside, they have a full coffee bar that actually tastes delicious. Not gas station coffee where you need to make a wish and hope for the best. This is legit, warm your soul, keep you awake kind of coffee. Christa and I both approved. The employees were super friendly too. You can tell they actually like being here, which makes the whole place feel clean, easy, and welcoming. And the best part? A ton of gas pumps.
