Our first stop at a Wawa. They had the lowest fuel prices in the area. The store had everything you would need for a snack of a meal. They also had a very cold icy machine and I chose a very large Blueberry. I wasn't impressed with the bathroom. It wasn't clean and only had an air hand dryer. So when you wash your hands you have to touch the filthy door to leave. This looked like a new store so it should have been cleaner. read more

This may be the shortest review I've ever done!! WE HAVE A NEW WAWA!!!! You guys are lucky because we don't have any WaWas in Charleston!!! If WaWa corporate reads these, Charleston is begging you , specifically Mt Pleasant SC , please come here!! I'm a local here but my hubby is from New England. He introduced me to WaWa!! I can't get enough of their hoagies!!! Today I got a dilled turkey club and it was delicious!!! It was also HUGE!! And my hubby got his traditional Italian! The best part? It's HoagieFest2025 and they were only $6 each!!! If they had merch we would have bought the tye dyed tshirts! Kudos to the local team, our sandwiches were delicious, my hubby loves the WaWa lemonade and I had a custom iced coffee. Been to Wawa from New Jersey to Florida, this store does NOT abide by Wawa policy. STORE #6309 If a coffee flavor is out and you have to wait for it to be brewed fresh, THE COFFEE IS FREE for the person waiting. THIS STORE DOES NOT HONOR THIS POLICY. TRAINING IS NEEDED DESPERATELY. SOMEONE FROM CORPORATE PLEASE COME DOWN AND TRAIN THE EMPLOYEES AT THIS LOCATION. This is supposed to be "GRAB AND GO". Like the other comments, coming from up North, the time pace is a no go. 20 minutes for an order. Ordering kiosk is out. Coffee is the biggest seller. No French Vanilla Creamer?? No French Vanilla Coffee. Everyone sitting on the cups. . . If there's no French vanilla at all, how are you making the drinks that require the French vanilla flavor? I was told Mrs. Rhonda or Mrs. Vonda is the manager. Everyone's frozen drink are now melting while waiting for a sandwich. The employees making the food and drinks are moving extremely slow. Wa Wa in Pooler just opened and with the notoriety heaped upon the anticipated attival well justified. Half of the "footprint" of this location is devoted to take and go food items, most cooked to order. On this visit all of the attention being paid to those items speak very well to the quality and value. Despite being opening day, all employees were pleasant and enthused. Having grown up next to the very first Wawa, I feel like I've given this location enough tries to say... I'm good, no thanks! Order a sandwich in the app, get an estimated time of pick up and select pay when picking up and they never received the order and it's miraculously gone from the app... reorder while there and I may as well have gone and gotten my nails done cause wth takes them so long to make a sandwich? They're constantly out of everything, and our sandwiches are wrong every damn time. Hint: if you ask for extra of anything, they just don't put any on so just ask for the normal amount of whatever. The only reason I'll go back is the free air station in the parking lot and the iced tea there is my favorite. read more

As a Northerner, I've been super excited about the grand opening of this place. I went in on opening day, and it was surprisingly less crowded than I thought. I was in and out in just 15 minutes, grabbing my frozen coffee drinks and togo breakfast items. I even came back the next day for gas, a cold sub, and coffee. The sub did take a bit longer, but it could have been because it was pretty busy at that time of day. The food was good and the frozen coffees were delicious. I love the 2-4-6 menu, as I was able to get a turkey sub and coffee for $4. read more

Absolutely the worst thought out access ever. Easy to get into, a nightmare to leave. Look it up on Google Maps satellite view. You either have to do a U-turn somewhere on Pine Barren, or you have to drive around an apartment complex. The police sit an wait for someone to make an illegal left turn because it's the easiest way to get back onto Pooler Parkway. It's a guaranteed way for them to write a ticket when the person leaving the gas station isn't familiar with the area. read more

I've given this Wawa so many tries. I even try to convince my wife, who grew up next to the original Wawa, that it's not that bad. But man - nine strikes and you're out. I just don't understand how you can get everything wrong over and over again. The tickets literally tell you step by step what to do. I only ever order one thing - the fajita veggie panini. I ordered it once and it was amazing, so I kept going back hoping to get that same experience. Nope. Every time since it's been wrong. Once they just made a completely different sandwich altogether (something with bacon). This time around they left off the fajita veggies - so essentially I got an egg and cheese sandwich with WAY too much cream cheese. How do you leave off the main ingredient!!! It's literally in the name of the sandwich!!! It's the first thing in the ticket!! I'm over it - I won't be back. I'd suggest you try Starbucks or Panera - which aren't much better but not a lot of other options around here. read more

This is the second time we have been to this location. Bless their hearts, it's run exactly how you would expect a Wawa in Georgia to run. I would skip this location and try again in Florida or Virginia. This is by far some of the worst sandwich making staff I've ever seen. read more

I've been there twice since opening. Being from Philly this was a must. We need stores is southern SC close to Bluffton and Hilton Head. On both of my visits. It took a very long time to get my order. I wrote the first one off as being the first week they were open. But my subsequent visit was later and the process should have been faster. I didn't enjoy the coffee, but the coffee stations didn't look as good as I'd expect. I agree with the other reviews that I have seen where training is necessary and attention needs to be given to this store by Wawa corporate. With that said, I'll continue to go there and I'll continue to hope that things improve and that Wawa opens a store closer to me read more

As a native Philadelphian, I know my way around the Wawa's all over the East Coast. I am befuddled at these poor reviews because not only did my family of 5 get our subs in a timely manner, but they were made by a young lady - whose name we wish we remembered so we could shout out what an awesome job she did - with such care that we declared them the best Wawa hoagies we have ever had! Other items? The baked treats - of which we purchased plenty - were all awesome and the pretzels were stellar. Overall, a phenomenal stop on our road trip and we were so happy to see our first Georgia Wawa!! read more

Being from philadelphia pa. I have been to many wawa stores. I grew up enjoying many holiest, soft pretzels, tasty cakes, coffee, and much more that wawa has to offer. But, I think, the company needs to rethink this store in pooler. The other night I ordered a mini hogie, it almost twenty minutes, two people making sandwiches and talking is not getting the job done. we arrived at Wawa around 8am and Wawa was not serving made to order breakfast. no custom orders for drinks only brewed coffee which was warm and watered down. we ended up getting a bacon egg and cheese bagel that was so hard it couldn't be eaten and bacon egg and cheese croissant that was hard as well from the hot box by the registers. We frequently stop at Wawa's acro Florida and have never had such a bad experience. I hope they can get it together. read more
